Hi there, was thinking of getting the Ideos x5 Plus when I saw this phone. great battery life + ICS really sucked me in. Just a question, has anyone here successfully rooted their Honor? or tried out that Cricketuser root method in post 205?

Yea I know, but if they've released a demo version, the official version should be in development am I right? Looking forward to that. Large screen, relatively good processor speed, lotta great things about this  phone. Just hope it doesn't get problematic or buggy later, I remember one guy who mentioned on the Huawei FB page that his Honor kept rebooting itself.

Indeed. This being a fairly new phone, I don't think anyone's developed custom ROMs for it yet, at least not on XDA Dev forums. Not even sure if I can root this phone yet with Superoneclick  etc. Oh well, only way from here is up though, I'm sure they'll get to it in time.

Added on February 26, 2012, 11:25 ambtw guys, i still have the problem of no notification sound when receiving sms. I only receive notification sound when whatsapp/fbmsg and other notification comes in.
