So any bro's can give comment about the B913 ICS 4.0.3 rom? Since some are calling it the final official 4.0.3 rom is this rom stable and has all the google apps and functions? I might be getting this phone in 2 hours time and this will greatly affect my decision, Thanks bros!

Thanks bro, two main reasons why i'm really interested in this phone is because of the monster battery and the official sales brochure from Huawei that they are distributing here in sabah claims that Honor is ICS ready so this are the two main reasons why i'm interested

Guys! Add me to the family! am now an owner of this awesome phone too! However mine didnt come with preloaded ICS, just the GB rom, plus i got official comfirmation its gorilla glass as well! my unit was fresh open new box and the official huawei sticker was still on the screen and gorilla glass was printed on it. Can post the pic here guys if u want

No problem bro, plus i'll try to also find out if there were two different productions as well because i also read online review before that the honor's touch screen was not sensitive but when i tried side by side with my friends samsung galaxy, the honor was much more responsive

Guys, for those who are not playing with ICS and want something different then try out SPB launcher! Very very pretty 3D launcher!

Supposed to also help battery performance and also touch screen sensitivity.

Big thanks bro for this rom! I actually tried out rom913 before upgrading to this and its definitely faster and more stable! Lots of lag in 913. However i did notice 913 had Malay language, does 978 have malay also? and 913 battery consumption was actually really high

I see, 913rom got lots of languages and seems to me more apps as well, plus lock screen is like Huawei GB rom lock, got 4 icons to unlock plus the top can slide to get music player on the lock screen

First make sure you back up all your data, sms, contacts into your sd card, Stock GB rom should have an app called All Backup, very easy to use. After that download the new ICS rom, after your done create a new folder and name the folder 'dload' and unpack all the files into that folder, next step move the dload folder into your sd card. once this is done go to your phone settings and click on storage, you should see an option called software upgrade, just click on that and then wait for official ICS goodness to install in your phone. Dont worry if your phone restarts itself 3 times before the phone is completely flashed. I've already tried multiple roms using this method and its simple! happy flashing!

Just sent huawei a message, lets see what they say. Frankly speaking i'm still very satisfied with the 978 Rom and the phone is great but what is annoying the heck outta me is that they didnt keep their word of rolling out an official international rom. This reminds me of the time when i was a very frustrated Meizu user and the experience left me very very prejudiced against mainland china companies. I hope this all is just a glitch and they got problems uploading the rom up to their servers or else the damage will be complete and my faith in chinese companies will forever be negative =.=
