after few days as honor user....

i must say, it was impressive indeed in terms build quality....same par on htc build quality...u won't feel plasticky feel like most samsung devices....hence it would feel heavier than Iphone 4 (hell yeah i like solid feel)....

Hardware wise,
yes, i believe many ppl eyeing what capable of single core 1.4Ghz compared to 1Ghz dual core...
fyi,it equipped Adreno 205 can do most of 3d games due to snapdragon procs compatibility.
(if you're hardcore gamer, get a sg S2)

Memory,
Honor comes with 1GB rom, 2GB internal, & 8GB swappable memory.
1GB rom are sufficient to install apps from market without hasle unlike 128MB or 256MB....

Battery 1930mah,
a single charged will enough to feed your 12 hour usage on data/wifi, video playback + some gaming session.
battery efficiency
oh yeah, its Li-Po battery

Speaker,
sound a bit lose compared htc crispy loudspeaker,still very loud.
however it can solved, tweaked through native 3rd party apps.

Display,
pixel sharpness are good enough to see small fonts,
color display i won't say is good due to normal TFT lcd display, eventually you will notice some color fade if u compare to amoled display. (my previous device HTC Desire Amoled does better in this part)

Camera,
8MP a letdown in my opinion, i'm expected more actually.
No touch focus, (Just auto focus on centre spot)
No manual iso adjustment,
Can't disable shutter sound itself (only way to does it, set to silent mode on phone)

Conclusion:
i pay 1k to buy this device,
i nvr put high hope on it since sell off my htc desire first
i just check through online only, not even check out the actual sample unit Honor on retails store.
(buy 1st, test later concept) risky

I'm also having touch screen unresponsive problem....could it be touch screen calibration?

I tried look some 3rd party touch screen calibration apps....but seems like none of it...
Btw, if u realize on recovery menu got touch screen firmware update....It shud b useful....

Even though it was gorilla glass, it doesn't scratch proof at all.....my bro Samsung s2 accidentaly dropped his s2 on floor from same heights as normal chair.....still his s2 gorilla screen was scratched...

So it's better b safe rather than sorry..

mine is black color with rugged surface...just like samsung S2 back plate plastic cover....
so does as other honor user at the moment....white will be avail coming month i guess...


i encountered this problem b4 few days ago....
battery indicated 45% after browse internet....then after few minutes inactivity, battery indicator back up to 50%....
after few cycled charging battery, this issue gone....

battery calibration app must root device only able to calibrate battery....otherwise,u just use it as usual......

ooh, i didn't do the charge coz i was readin online and a lot of people seemed to think it was unnecessary for newer batteries. even the guy at the shop i got it from said i didn't need to do it. but i had a nagging feeling that i should have..

it's subjective issue....no harm if try it....it won't overcharged ur battery since it has auto cut off circuit build in itself to prevent overcharged & damage the battery.

now i'm using Camera360 apps from market....
it's better than stock camera app...
lot of control & setting u can do

i dun think so digi will launch Honor since previous all line mostly consist htc,samsung,motorola & iphone...

i prefer windows way....

I've downloaded the file that u mentioned....but inside zip doesn't show dload directory....how to do update over that file?

even i move the whole file on root directory memory card, i won't detect through setting upgrade....
or do i need to rename extension file from .tar > .zip?

erh....how u guys update ics?
