Im using without screen protector all the while. I think its oke. I don't like too sensitive. Last time used a Nokia C6-01. Way way too sensitive!! Not even touch the screen already register my touch. Damn annoying. Of course I would say that is very fail for Nokia.

I am using my huashi honor without screen protector. I knew it was gorilla glass from onset but not dared to actually test it.
QUOTE(xchaosdragon @ Feb 9 2012, 03:30 PM) Hi ashburn98, Could you also include a ram usage screenshot by the huawei honor for comparison purpose? Both ICS and Gingerbread. Thank you in advance =) |

True, but when I've just bought the SGW, the ram available to be used is already around a 100mb. So, I would really like to know how's the Huawei Honor ram usage, since I heard not much bloatwares are installed.Ram usage? Wouldn't that depends on what apps you installed? |

I install alots of apps..on startup, my Honor loads the Security Guard, Calendar, Traffic Manager, Whatsapp, YM Mail, FB and few system load settings. With that also around 110mb of RAM available for use. Huawei didnt install any unnecessary apps that the user dont want. Anyone have a 2.3 official rom that I can roll back to? I think I did a noob mistake of upgrading without a rollback version
Factory reset option resets the device to ICS. Edit: Looks like this might be the one http://www.huaweidevice.com/worldwide/down...softid=NDM2NzQ= This post has been edited by ashburn98: Feb 11 2012, 12:39 AM |

QUOTE(Shawnzz @ Feb 9 2012, 08:54 PM) Hey guys, according to specs. This huawei hornor is using gorila glass. So its ok if i use it without a screen protector right? My screen protector now has alot of key scratches now, its seems to be quite annoying to look at Source? I haven't seen any source which states that Honor is using Gorilla glass. Better to keep or change screen protector, better be safe than sorry. Also noticed that touchscreen sensitivity is inconsistent as some others noted. But coming from an old android phone (samsung spica), the Honor's touchscreen is fine for me |

Gorilla Glass is not scratch proof it is just scratch resistance ... means it can still be scratch.
