I have recently graduated from Raffles International College with an Advance Diploma in Fashion Design. Throughout the course, I have completed courses in Pattern Drafting and Draping, Sewing, Design Research and Development, Fashion Merchandising and Communication as well as several computer – aided courses such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Gerber Technology. In my two years of study, I have designed collections of Women’s Casual Wear, Women’s Evening Wear, Women’s Career Wear, Men’s Wear including a Mini Collection for my graduation show.
As for my experience in the Fashion Industry, I have volunteered as a dresser backstage at the MIFA 2007 and 2008 as well as NU YOU Fashion Rocks Concert 2008.

• Good understanding of the garment design and sewing process; from the garment conceptualization stage, through the pattern drafting phase, to final garment assembly.
• Good fashion and colour sense with the ability to create and adapt designs to changing market conditions.

• Good knowledge of fabrics, and the ability to choose the best match between garment design and fabric.
• Ability to translate client garment design requirements into design illustrations using leading design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
