There are official hdd for Xbox with the size (those for use in old model of Xbox). Go with the console with the 250gb hdd as buying an extra official one from microsoft will be expensive. smile.gif

Btw difference between the 250gb n 4gb console is the 250gb console is gloss black while the other is black matte. Latest revision all consoles (250gb n 4gb) are all black matte. No more glossyyy

Retail games will run fine without the hdd. Only few games require hdd e.g. Forza 3 to install additional tracks n cars. If you plan to buy Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA) games, then 4gb will run out reaaaallly fast.
