More or less u are on the right track.Im planned to have the renovation sequence like below: not sure correct sequence anot since this would be my 1st house renovation.
claimed house defect > alarm wiring > power point and electrical wiring > plaster ceiling > kitchen cabinet/wardrobe > lightning > painting > grill > alarm system > electrical product (air cond)/tv and etc. and lastly furniture.
To be slightly more precise
1. House defect - 1 month more or less
2. Invite your cabinet guy to come and measure and start doing it.
3. Alarm and power point wiring normally same contractor
4. Aircon extra powerpoint and piping point, concealed (do same time as electrical)
5. Plaster
6. Lighting install, this is 2nd trip for electrical guys.
7. Wardrobe & cabinet install.
8. Painting (u save abit of paint if does it after cabinet install, plus the painter can
cover the glue that holds your cabinet grooves)
9. Grill
10. Alarm system, aircon, fridge, oven, kitchen fixtures, toilet fixtures, ask them to help
you with some drilling for your paintings or future paintings or wall hanging.
11. Furniture
12. Invite your painters to come back to touch up on the holes and smears which
was caused by grillers, furniture movers, yourself(hehehe)
13. TV and movable electronics..IF you are staying in landed. As it is not advisable if
you are moving in yet.
14. Curtains
15. Get maid service to clean ur house
16. Opening house and buffet, enjoy ppl good reviews
