Just my 2 cents i dont think there will be any difference in how the final sound will be if both amp power rating are the same.
If there is someone who can correctly identify which is the better amp as until today no one has been able to take the prize money from richardC

cheers

Well meter testing will be able to tell the difference. but on human ears no one to date have been able to tell the difference in terms of amps. on speakers wise you can but for amp nope. unless that person has a electronic ears which computes the sound frequency etc etc. smile.gif

what i basically meant is if both amp are the same power rating, then unless the person wants the wow factor and have more cash to spare then get the more expensive amp. else there is no difference.
I think spending more on the speakers and headunit first before the amp.

or unless this setup is for competition use then yes you should spend on better specs amp.

until and unless proven otherwise, till date i know no one has been able to take the money from richardC.

cheers

China chicken very nice tongue.gif akeke

Well i am not saying MCC is not good but can you actually tell the difference if i install the mcc in the same car setup compare to the xetec which is the question raised by the TS. I am just saying i dont think any human ears can tell them apart if both are tuned the same.

http://goo.gl/rOzC5

This might help answer abit of what i mean. Have listened to many amps, but not as many as professional installers like taiko howie. but about approximately 10 - 15 brands from german, US, Japan, Italian, Malaysian, China.

If setup the same cant tell what the brand is.

Only difference i know so far is which amp the rating is under or over rated tongue.gif

But I would be very very proud if a malaysian can take home the USD 10k coz i have yet to meet one.

cheers.
