Hi All,

not sure if this is discuss before. Am planning to have fish pond but wonder what is market price and how it calculated.

FYI - the size am looking at is 4x6. one of the contractor quote me 8k but he does not want to disclose on price details. am not sure if this is reasonable or bit pricey.

appreciate if anyone out there can share ur experience and what price u pay + what you get for your fish pond.

its only 2and half feet under and half feet above ground.

If he does it properly for you including under pond water drainage pipes, filtration cambers and related filtration piping and not to mention water proofing of the walls and floor of the pond. The price would in this case be reasonable.

Make sure they build pond structure with a metal bar structure before pouring in concrete for extra strength.

will contact them and ask if that included. I went to another contractor, they qoute me 12K. i will post picture later. they said can be ready in 3 days and free maintenance.

btw the 12K is with some underground piping.. am not sure what they call it but looks interesting. but now the said size 4x6 is too small. minimum is like 8*6 doh.gif
