Planning to change my stock Saga FLX 14" rims to 15". Would 195/55-15 be a suitable replacement for the stock 185/60-14 tyres? I don't want to sacrifice ride comfort as I feel 195/50-15 tyres a tad too bumpy. Any recommendations?

Planning to change my FLX stock 14"s to 15". Can anyone tell me the prices for 195/55-15 tyres. The list only includes imported tyres. Looking for local ones like Sime or Dunlop or Goodyear. Imported ones so EX!

Well i remembered for my set of 185/60-14 for my Suzuki ERV Falken Ziex912 around RM130 per piece.

So my FLX i am looking at 195/55-15 either Falken 912s, Sime Astars or Dunlops? What you think if my budget around Rm150-160 per piece?

Because have to budget for 15" Rims as well.

So which means for the upgraded size of 195/55-15 i can get Sime or Dunlop tyres at around Rm160.00 each? I can live with Sime or Dunlop. In fact these 2 are my prefered brands, only recently changed to try Falkens..

Hmm that comes to around Rm640 plus an upgrade of Rims (Advanti looks good) Rm899 comes up to Rm1,539.00.

The problem would be how much I can trade in my stock Rims and Tyres? I heard in Rawang they can give very high, in fact the highest trade in rates! V- tyres offer even from Rm800 above for stock rims and tyres! So I might have to top up Rm800 for the new set up.

Any shops you familiar with?

Saga FLX brand new. Less than 500kms. Is the 14" Executive model sport rims. Not besi rims.... So many tks for your help offered!

Oh, where is your place located? It is okay to shop around, maybe there's a rim design i like etc....

Since this chamber nut is in relations to the tyre, I want to raise this question. How many of us actually know what is this chamber or actual spelling is camber nut (i think?)? Why do tyre shops always ask us to change this stupid nut? I for one, never changed this nut as I feel the tyre shops just want to chop out vegetable head.

This will never happen is you go to your familiar shop which is honest. My normal shop has never asked me to change this nut. They just need to adjust it. Unless the nut is broken! Which is quite impossible in normal use.

Yeah, I guessed just as much.

So people, whenever we go to a tyre shop, if they ask you to change the camber nut, be careful. On job could be happenning! I read that unless we crashed our car, this nut doesn't need to be changed!
