Why not stop at Rawang? Many shop around that area & reasonable price too. Change tyre normally took around 30 minute. Anyway at Ipoh you can call them first to confirm tyre price, coz not as cheap as Rawang. They also not keep many brand & size. I also from Ipoh but bought tyre at Rawang/Klang/KL.

You're welcome, what size you use? What brand & model you looking?

My tire size is 185/55/16 (Honda City). I was quoted RM290 for Goodyear Excelence, RM235 for Continental and RM300 for Michelin XM2 & Falken ZE912.

Havent decide which one to get. smile.gif

I was quoted RM330 for Yoko A Drive for my City i.e. 205/50/16 by a shop in Jalan Ipoh. That's pretty steep i feel. Has anyone changed similar tyre size? Brand and price please.

eh, still using CPC2? why dont go for xm2 instead? anyway, what else did u surveyed and the price? thanks.

Previously I was using Goodyear Excellence. This is the first time using Conti. A lot of people commented on XM2's poor grip so I decided to get the Conti. Recently my bro changed to XM2 for his Camry and I too feel that the grip is not as good as the stock Bridgestone.

Btw Goodyear Excellence was +- RM280 and XM2 is around RM300.

i see.. so does this tire meet your expectation? does it better than xm2? in term of road noise and grip (wet n dry)..? i plan for xm2 for my next set of tires.. so need your input.. thanks..

im on cpc2 and current mileage is 42k, it shud able to last up to 50~55k.. grip in dry and wet is ACCEPTABLE for me, above average..

Yes I like em. Better grip and noise level compared to the other two tires.
