I am currently using these sizes for my car;
205/55R16 & 205/50R16.

Can I replace it with 205/60R16?
Will it fit my wheels?

Thanks
*
it sure can fit your wheels. the size of the tyre can be fit or not depend on your car bro.

31 December 2011 i bought Rotalla tyres in Klang..(shop name 4got..mayb Hock Hip if not mistaken)
165/60 R14 per piece is rm120...
is it a gud buy? can't afford 2 buy expensive tyres....
this tyres less bumpy...but "Rotalla"???? never heard of it..made in china summore...

*off topic..wat the suitable tyres pressure?
stated max pressure is 300kpa...i use 240 only..can or not?
*
price is okay.for this size there are many China tyre out there.Goodyear is more common and better one.rotalla normal use is okay lor.air pressure I think too much..average pressure should be around 210kPa.

Bro ernest0205, I find that many tyre shops have very limited choices of 175/70r13. I look for MichelinXM1 / Yokohama A Drive / Continental, but they only sell Silverstone, Sime Tayar, Good Year etc...how disappointing...
*
because those brand are more common and very less people look for expensive tyres like michelin due to low budget I think.yokohama tyres have limited stock.continental cc5 also very expensive.

S'stone Atlantis V7 - RM250 vs Hankook V12 Evo - RM270 Tek Ming Sunway (Trade in old tyre) (Jan 11) vs Continental $? which is better for Vios?
*
among these 3 I thk choose continental.v12 is good but if u are not lucky sidewall will crack..I have picture of it..saw few cases alr.v7 not so sure is good or not.seems good but imbalance rotation Smtime ..my friend Honda accord use 215/55/17 ,one out of the 4 piece has this problem.cc5 so far quiet and comfortable.don't mind trying ps3 or xm2 also if u wan to give a try.just my opinion smile.gif

*
rm 1500 sure can make it although hyperchrome rim is expensive.depends on which brand tyre u want and size.55 series is higher den 50 series.

Morning guys. I'm in dilemma with either 215/45R17 or 215/50R17 or stick with the ori profile 205/50R17? Arghh..

But then, my strong option will be common 215/45R17. And some of my list are

1. Falken Ziex 912
2. Goodyear F1 Asy 2
3. GT HPY
4. N6000/N8000

Anyone can give some review? And price?
Tq guys smile.gif
*
my opinion for the 4 tyres is nexen is overrated.never heard of GT.falken 912 not bad.f1 asy 2 awesome.nexen around rm 280.falken 912 approximately +/-rm 300 plus..f1 asy approximately +/- rm 450..

what do u mean by higher for 55 and 50? lol actually what is the difference between 195/50 and 195/55 ? icon_question.gif
where to get for rm1500?
*

[/quote]
the height of the tyre.the side profile..if u put
195/50 and 195/55 together , the 55 onr would be higher.

where did u change your tyres and rims?
*
if use 55 series surely will be more expensive la.cc5 for 195/55/15 already around rm195 if not mistaken.so sureley will exceed rm1500.i changed mine at shah alam.price michelin is very cheap there.other brand is almost the same with price at klang.sometimes expensive few ringgit lor.but service is good and the guy is kinda friendly.

For a Waja with 205/55R16, which would be better suited?

1) Falken ZE 912 - RM290 LS tyre Genting Klang (Nov 11)
2) Falken ZE 522 - RM270 LS tyre Genting klang (Nov 11)
3) Hankook Ventus 12 Evo - RM305 Teck Ming Sunway (Apr 11)
4) Nexen N8000 - RM270 Hup Shun SS3 (Jan 11)

Thanks..
*
among these 4 i think ventus v12 is the best lar.many people say nexen is good.but i dont think so lor.falken is so so for the performance.if wan to buy falken i think maxxis would be a better choice.

my opinion ar..use 55 series better lor.price more expensive but since our road got many hole, better protection for the rim la alt is only a bit difference in height.50 series will look good if u use lowering springs.

kedai papan..just buy the tyre & install at other shop..their workmanship is like c!ba!..your rims will scratch easily..

if install at other shop balancing+install rm 10. why don't just go shah alam rm 180 include balancing and installation if it is not too far from ur place.
