just watched the RAW.. i think this 1st episode of new anime is kinda abit dissapointed.. it's not what i expected..

Watched the first episode. Downloaded Lime subs.

The episode itself was good (story wise, animation wise and action wise).

But the quality of the rip was pretty bad! And the translation wasn't consistent at all. One minute it was Garde Robe, the next it was Galdelupe...

Is Doremi-whatever-whatever fansubs any better? If it is I'll consider redownloading. Otherwise, I'll just wait for Shinsen or some other better fansub group.

I've watched SS's HQ version and it looks good,don't really see a reason to hate it. (unless you hate subtitles in color for some reason) Plus,they did a good job with Mai-Hime so I'm sure they'll do a good job with Otome too. 

Yeap i like the "diff color etc" thingie too.But I've heard some ppl say they like "just plain old subbing" (lol) so I just put it up so ppl will know =)

just finish watching the SS fansub that sub the 1st episode... i think i still prefer SS fansub video quality... it's way better than others..

every MB counts when u have less than 2GB left on your harddisk, i have a DVD-writer, but lack the resources to buy the media itself. 

gonna get some of those media by the end of this month, and i aint watching Mai Otome only 

*waiting patiently for 2nd ep by SS*

No worries,so far (so far as in episode 1 =p) season 2 doesn't have anythin to do with season 1 ,correct me if I'm wrong somebody =)

somehow i dun really feel the mai otome being a sequel to mai hime...
there are some old chracters from mai hime...
but somehow de storyline doesn't fit in at all...

n come 2 tink of it... de main character's battle suit looks weird...
i would expect more like shizune's battle suit...
dat 1 would make her look better... i guess...

i dl the raw n watch already......ant-san otome clothes was being rip off left he r boobies n private part cover only.

i cant wait for ss so i just dl any fansub that already sub it.

it greatly amuses me too. But what amuses me most that this story has been changed from the oppai and man/woman relationship in Mai hIme to lolita and Yuri (natsuki/shizuru is no suprise, but Mahsiro and arika?? WHAT THE FISH???!!!)
