first of all,congrat on ur release,finally rom other than bakpia,firetrap,cm(although ur base on cm),and superosr was release
actually i kinda wanted something new 4 my fone,since i see ur comment from boston,i cant wait to try ur rom and now its in.
basically,ur rom quite simple with stock launcher,juz like i wanted,but a lil bit annoy by market download.can u fix it?other than that it was marvellous,thanks 4 the release.anyway,juz wanna ask,what is this cellpatch?is it necessary?

Currently my fone running on ur rom with 2.6.32.9 EA# ubuntu kernel.liquidity quite ok.wifi still on test and orientation is ok.keep up the good work.

run the sutlr setup and while the setup running go to program files and find the folder that contain the nbo files,i forget the name of the folder but u will find it quite easy as the setup only create a temporary file in program files,copy the nbo while the setup is running as when the setup finished,the nbo will dissapear

Added on October 23, 2011, 1:57 amhi again.sorry to bother but bout the 'cannot connect to camera' problem is a hardware error.not really sure,still on investigation.mi300 fone hav a temperature problem.if ur play games or activate the wifi for a long time,make sure ur fone doesnt overheat coz it will effect the sensitivity of the camera.
juz cool down ur fone or reboot fix the camera cannot connect problem.

Thanks 4 the explanation,anyway,needless to say,been using this rom 4 almost 2 day.great rom,no camera,liquidity,orientation,wifi,network and touchscreen problem,battery quite good after callibrate,bout the market,doesnt really bother me now,fast juz like phantom and no ram consuming,cpu been overclock to 787 with 18% ram compression almost free 95m ram.juz the way i like it.

FOR THOSE WHO PREFER PERFORMANCE OVER APPEARANCE,I REALLY REALLY RECOMMEND THIS ROM...

juz 4 info,been using this rom for a while,but never got problem like u guys say,are u all sure u flash this rom properly?

bout the camera,eventhough rom or apps support zooming,clearly mi300 only has webcam,so zooming is not recommended(confirmed by csl and spice)

bout the wifi,if u guys use it while charging( not recommended) mi300 will got a problem with wifi.but if u're a extreme wifi user,switching from AOSP to ubuntu is the solution.

bout the kernel,i believe AOSP allow overclock up to 800 mhz,but considering mi300, overclock over 700 is far than more for an extreme user.so if u treasure ur fone,think b4 overclocking.

bout the orientation or problem right after flashing,try flash ur rom from cm7.1 stable(see boston mania),everytime i try flash from phantom or stock rom.problems will occur with this rom.and dont forget to reset,clear dalvik cache and clear cache partition b4 flashing,and of course battery stat.using kernel from cm eav 6 kernel also recommended.

all i'm saying here is juz 4 info,no offense to anyone.i been using at least 6 different roms with record of 60 times flashing/updating roms(especially cm mod),problem only occur if u guys mess up while flashing.so please read carefully b4 flashing,and 4 angelictears,please give a complete guide here on how to flash ur rom starting from stock rom and modified rom.

anyway thanks again for ur wonderful rom,i been searching for a lite rom like urs for my mi300.keep up ur work and i ll be cheering on u

there is nothing wrong with the gps,i can even use the gmaps quite easily using wireless,and dont sit inside ur house when enabling gps to detect ur location by satellite

any problem occur when using this rom can be fix by changing kernel,it seem that some kernel fits some version of fone,so try it one by one as angelictears already done a great job of creating GAIA for us.Spare him some time to rest and do a small research on this.

there is nothing to compare as my result on kernel differ for different version on z71 variant + all clone.
if u wanna result.juz use 2.6.35.11 v of kernel as that kernel originally optimize for 1ghz device.AOSP was the original and most stable for GAIA.

juz flash other kernel available,u can use either eav6@edgar kernel,others are 2.6.32.9 #11,#20.as for me,the original aosp kernel will mess up my wifi,so i v been using eav6 for a while and nothing happen.

From my test through lots of flashing,there is nothing wrong with different method of flashing but suitability from kernels taking part for those problems.

1) from eav6 do wiping of dalvik,partition cache,and factory reset from recovery
2)flash GAIA and reboot recovery to update recovery and factory reset again,if u stuck at boot,having orientation,wifi,imei,tethering, or any other problems,ready different type of kernels on ur sd and flash one by one until u find it suitable for ur device.
3) dont forget go calibrate ur battery once u find suitable kernel for ur device

thanks, this kernel based on 2.6.32.9#47 you can see in boston mania. but still battery life quite dissapointing. suppose u can readjust the kernel to be more better.

most 2.6.32.x already undervolt kernel. if u really use ur fone for calling, try using china brand, their battery life really unbeatable. or u can try modified em urself. no grudge but that is ur solution.i also using 2 fone, 1 for entertainment 1 for calling.

i m not saying its GAIA problem,dont misunderstood me.anyway,report on 2.6.32.9 #47 too much unstable for GAIA,dont know if its just me,good on wifi but less on liquidity,ram efficiency,but i really like da red green wake sleep button,hope u can update GAIA with this setting coz eventhough i can replace da ball by myself,its too much work to reessamble back da fone as trackball really sensitive when dealing with sweat or dust.so i dont really use it except for recovery mode.

there is nothing as s-off or e-off on mi300.thats apply only when flashing htc for undervolt.its turn off ur radio frequency.juz flash normally witg this fone.

never try on any other than mi300,u can try but no guarentee for any disconvenience.

anyone who hav problem with aosp kernel,juz change to ubuntu kernel,this rom fits perffectly with ubuntu#3 and eav#6,others juz proved normally functional.bout smartassv2,u can use it but,that kernel a bit unstable with this rom.for tethering,juz like angelictears said,use 2.6.35.x kernel,but really not recommended as i go through lots of difficulty dealing with those kernel.

look, please...dont thanks me on those tiny reports, indeed reports are cumpolsory on improvement, but as u can see here, we're all here that need to thanks u for ur effort, ur knowledge, ur willngness and ur kindness on ur project and provide us ur rom without any compensation.

i never angry when someone roms broke my fone or bricking it coz thqts all my helpless mistake,but ur all (rom provider) never stop giving ur all for us. But i will angry with someone who juz ask ask ask and ask bout some trivial matter without research bout it,need to spoon-feed everytime.

so once again, please angelictears,do not thanks me,but i m the one who need to thanks u a lot for ur beautiful work despite busy.
