sorry guys if this seems inappropriate here.
was trying to flash to GAIA using rom manager. i wanted to make a backup of my current ROM however, it kept getting stuck at the "enter Recovery mode" phase on boot screen. what should i do here? continue waiting or pressing volume up+camera+power button. however, i did that but still nothing happens also, after backing up my current rom, should i partition my sd card? what about clearing caches (i have no idea how to access this options) and flashing to firetrap rom??? i'm lost T_T |

same, now instead of stuck at "enter recovery mode", now im stuck at "enter Fastboot mode". its been 15 minutes and its still stuck argh...

reflash to firetrap rom 2.1 first , then only flash to gaia..., your baseband will be back

hi all, just a quick question.
have installed the gaia rom and was trying to test out v6 supercharger yesterday and realized few things a) after installing root explorer, it seems that the app only stay in black screen mode for a long time, and asked to be forced closed b) after trying to reinstall script manager, i can no longer open the app. keep on saying "the app has stopped unexpectedly." c) after installing titanium backup, it seems that it cant get root permission, which i feel very weird d) cant install busybox as well, same error as titanium back up, cant get root access e) cant update superuser binary, saying md5 checksum failed whats happening to my phone >.< btw i keep getting block letters even from normal english words. anyway to remedy this??? also few bugs, cant do wifi hotspot?? is this true?? thanks all sifu!! guys, i think im in deep trouble...
previously was on 1.1.0 GAIA until i wanted to try miui v2beta... wiped /cache, /system, /data and dalvik cache...when i reboot the phone, it keeps on staying in GAIA welcome screen and miui load screen bootloop... tried to flash GAIA 1.1.0 again but no CWM available, so i went into fastboot mode...lo and behold, there is no fastboot mode as it goes back to GAIA welcome screen and miui load screen bootloop.. used the instructions on phantom to install CWM...but cant get it to work...keep going into download mode when i try to reboot to recovery. tried to install firetrap and phantom rom using sutlr but still same...stuck in bootloop....anyone can help??? argh!! |

thanks for your reply...finally i can get back to using mygingerb 1.1.0...the biggest reason is because.....i press different key combo to get in recovery!! >.< thanks!! thanks!! thanks!! for your concern and detailed explanation!! finally get my phone to work!! now, trying out your guide on installing mygingerb v2.0.1 on the mygingerb blog...hope it works!! ok so the part with cwm...you really helped me alot!! ok, but i still cant install via sut lr...error im getting is Error Code: 0xf626 Error: task 1of2, Download image (QC,OEM,AMSS,APPSBT,aBOOT,aSYS,aRCV,aSPL,aHID) fail, Error = QPD_ERROR_ARMPRG_HELLO_TBUFFER (0xF626).
