Mr angelictears, from my situation above, did u surprise? Actually i also quite surprise with what android promise us. i cant believe my mi300 can be more powerful juz by applying those. I see that not much people realise that.

bout da linux swap created from cwm recovery, it seem it will separated from ext, which means, if i checked it with minitool, i ll see three separate partition that is ext, linux swap and fat32. my question is, how to activate it?What application needed? if swapper,(not da one that created swap inside ext) can u teach me how to set da apk it so da linux swap became active?

improving stability and performance would be a must if it me... nothing else matter

owhhh i got suggestion bout da logo, how bout a picture of earth with a small android logo holding a V flag on top of it with a black backgroud, easy to imagine isnt it? black and white should be enough.

as for boot animation, an animation of invisible BUS(mb board) centered with a microchip printed (AngelicTech) on it, with a glide of white light running through da BUS vein from center, make it a black background

Black is a symbol of elegant and white is pureness, elegant+pure, what else to we need???

As for now, i think focusing on da nex generation of GAIA will be top priority. Personally i also cant wait for da release, but i ll maintain my cool n ll wait for it.......

hi guys

need to ask a simple question, anyone know how to enter download mode without da combo mode, adb or anything at least.

I accidentally drop my mi into puddle. normally it will RIP but i luckily managed to recover it by disassemble it part by part and dry it for 2 day, it comes back alive from coma but with end call button totally RIP. I cant find da part for that one so anyone who know a way to enter download mode without da combo button please tell me.

anyway, a quick guide on anyone who got same exp with me. Even ur phone drowned into water, take it back quickly. quickly open ur battery and sun dry 1 day. takes off all part (guide on boston mania) with screw driver and put it with white bread for at least a day in dry condition. Finally assemble it back while checking da board if it already dry. And last but not least, pray for hope when u try to press da power button. Its works for me.

Anyway, for those who try and fail, no need to apply da kernel, i end up repairing my mi300, restoring modem rev, temperature turn up to be 95 C, and my tiny mi really cannot suppress da kernel and end up quite pitiful, coz trying to adapt da kernel by force. Juz use da kernel provided by edgar

No need to change da modem rev, juz use ur rev rev, its for those who need, mi300 doesnt need it. Anyway, read mr angelictears notes above, u just dont know what mr angelictears been doing for u guys. The info that he gives above much more better than my suggestion before.

Its up to u what kernel should be major on GAIA, decide and carry on. Actually, my mr mi300 in resting, maybe for a long time...but i ll reactivate it for ur guide on da next generation of GAIA testing (maybe it ll be its last device standing test) coz i kinda realize after reparting my mr mi3 (my fone nickname ) part, da IC kinda burn out in most of da its 'legs', i cannot enter recovery/fastboot and master reset by combo button, but i can enter download mode by striking da ic with a shock, so... maybe i cannot be using it anymore after this. Its a result of too much testing on GAIA old gen based on new kernel n new rom release recently(twice a day flashing for this whole 3 weeks)

But i ll activate it juz for ur GAIA testing and i ll make a good guide for it. Even an amateur can understand it

So......make an android miracle for Malaysian

Guess i need to save a lil bit money for new device....

Anyway, i question for u, before my mi3 damaged recently, i reboot and it say 'enter diag port' what does it means?
is it some kind of self repairing system? turn out after that my mi3 doesnt display anything but after a while its rebooting and back to normal. Any suggestion or opinion on this?

Added on April 11, 2012, 4:52 ami forgot, to tell, my result after testing ur old GAIA with da spark kernel (fagulhas if u not familiar) #1++ turn out to be fatal problem on mi3. Da rom cannot or lets say its impossible for da rom to contain it. I heard u ll releasing zwei version of GAIA regarding different kernel .35 n .32 so take a look on this error first. I dont one anyone who too eager to test it and end up shortening da IC life.

Curiosity doesnt kill a cat in this case, its killing ur pocket

Tested from cm7.0.2 boot too long (using 2.5.1.3)

Tested from cm nightly build, boot too long (using 2.5.1.3)

Tested from RC1 build 06042012 boot too long (using both recovery ver)

Tested from eav6, 7, still boot too long. and still is it me or there is no gapps installed? (using 2.5.1.3 n 4.0.0.8)

Tested from eav7.2 final (nbo file), still boot too long, i dont know what da cost (4.0.0.8)

Tested using sparks kernel, no boot loop but rom cannot contain it. same error occur when flashing on GAIA v1.1

Tested using edgar both .35 n .32 kernel, no boot loop but still too long to boot.

tested from phantom rom both sky rev and phantom rev3b, dont hope to boot. nothing happen

Tested from cm7.2.0 rc1 v2, still boot too long. (5.0.2.7)

Tested from cm miui modded rom, no luck on it. (5.0.2.7)

Tested from eclair, and still boot too long, dont want to wait, i just pass on it. (2.5.1.3)

even second and third reboot takes a lot of time on all testing.

Counting da reboot time almost 10 minute, for those who stuck at boot, juz wait and wait. it will load da rom.

Anyway, improvement on eav7 is da reboot will get about 2 minute earlier

Anyway it still beta so try ur best.

Added on April 12, 2012, 1:46 ambout da stability, system performance, runs like hell (i means good, didnt ghost rider comes from hell ) with da given kernel, no error on oc and da battery, no comment coz i know what rmcc@tenkian gives on da kernel. all da apk can be changes by permission but it will takes lots of times to reboot after it. Tested with other kernel as well, maybe its still a soup so nothing changes. anyway. dont forget to change da boot animation mr angelictears. 3 times i edit my reply for this time so this is da conclusion.

Good kernel and system stability but quite dissapoint on performance, but i can adjust it according my settings on my own so no problem on that.

fone hang? none of that error occur on all test, its just slow boot. anyway all those test including waiting to reboot take 5 hours to completed,really interesting

defragger?! so thats da cause? boot too long indeed an annoying disturbance, but thanks to that my sd can be use again.

anyway, for a long time i ve been reseaching on sd ext on sd, da conclusion is, anyone here who hav sd below class 6 are discourage to used s2e not to say included da swap neither swapper or linux swap, its wrecking ur sd.

for those who use da #112 or #194, i advise u all to stop oc on that kernel, its not damaging ur device, its killing it.used it on default basis

dont be sad on da messed script, juz fix it n its gone, anyway,release da second beta and i ll be willing to test it on all released rom out there, but i prefer nbo over zip, but thats just me.

ps.

my fone already on max stated, really in good health, (applying compound liquid on da heatsink sure helping ) so bring it on.

Actually i ve been using these postpaid ever since i at high school, quite long considering my age now, since 2k, when in school my parent pay for da bill but starting i m in university i paid it myself so, for first time, its quite expansive but when u re used to it then its nothing. Paying $60 for 3G data, plus free call by whatsapp/skype n emailing n fb or messenger using direct data anywhere, i rarely pay my call n sms to service provider, except roaming. So its killing 2 bird with one stone isnt it, but thats just me

nothing seems wrong on da second beta, though da slow boot still there, but it halt half da times than before.
nice splash screen but nothing changed from boot anime
anyway, juz follow da reported error by PCXpert before and any bug will be solved.
LUNAR ???? what is that...? anyway who cares, but mr angelictears, better u patch da theme inside rom or provide link to download to make sure anyone whose dont know da way can do it too (easy guidelines (spoonfeed) isnt it obvious?).

use adb to install recovery by fastboot n windows, instruction has been given together with phantom nbo if u download da folder of sky rev

Added on May 16, 2012, 5:49 pmbut no worries, only my sd went corrupt as a result.managed to save my fone back.thanks to phantom....sorry, former phantom rom creator advises. it back to normal again.

let me brief my report. when flashing ur Gaia2.0.1RC_2.zip from eav, first boot took about 20 minute to reached os, still .com provision still in there, no problem on it, but on second boot it went up to 30 minute to boot and third boot not success, suffer problem like taeru, not booting at all, cannot flash using zip and if use nbo, it will fail, but i manage to force boot but only loop boot animate occur as i need to reach os to go into recovery. last result, using adb and install 2.1 stock again to regain my corrupt system. and da result, as i said before, my sd went berserk n cannot be access from any reader.

thats all, its seem not all tester suffer this problem as it takes lots of time to think of da best way to recover my fone

sorry to ask,r u sure u tapping da rite command to go to recovery mode, i mean cam+up+power, coz as i see ur reply repeatedly saying .....'normal power on, fail, try to boot to download mode....still in download mode, not CWM' ..... of course if u boot to download mode, it ll go to download mode. not cwm.

did i say flashing through adb? no, i asking for installing recovery using adb by fastboot (using window) not flashing nbo using adb but if i m wrong, sorry... as ur problem cannot getting through cwm recovery, did u try downloading da original software for mi300 that will flash ur mi3 to original rom from india? try that, and also dont use da software, suck out da nbo while da software still running. and also, what error occur during last stage of nbo? da number? did u check ur cable?try replacing it.

Didnt know any other method, but try this, when flashing any nbo except phantom, when it says reboot device, unplug ur phone, boot to recovery and plug it back.

I ll try to find other method, thanks for da problem

Recovery Mode: Vol_Up + Camera + Power
Download Mode: End_call + Vol_Up + Power
Master Reset: End_call + Camera + Power
Fastboot Mode: End_call + Vol_Down + Power
FTM Mode: Vol_Up + Vol_Down + Power

Please ... and please again, remember that ok!

i dont really recommend flashing da beta of GAIA, it still dont fully working, but u re free to try.....

but still, i quite thankful bout da second problem, da Error Code: 0xf626 occur while using SUTLr, so u ll be forgiven. Ok.... here da solving method;

1) like i said before CHANGE UR CABLE !
2) if it still occur while u already changing cable, do this, when da NEXT button starting to flash already push, juz wait for da error, after getting da error, unplug ur cable and change da port into other usb, flash again and u will get ur fone flashed by 3 magical minute...

da words Error = QPD_ERROR_ARMPRG_HELLO_TBUFFER (0xF626). occur becoz there da line between device n pc been disturbed, maybe u really like to flash and flash and flash... quit that... it ll save ur fone life.

and again, please do not again, ever again saying this silly sentence.....press different key combo to get in recovery!!

anyway, enough scolding..... glad ur fone can be use again, so....da agreement before says u did buy me a cup of coffee if it solved, post me da cup and bunch of instant coffee
