when will u upload ur showcase pic? huuhuu, wanna know something...i patch some carbon fibre sticker used for carhood into da back of my mi300 and apply a bulletproof tint for my mi300 screen as protector, it look so owesome, u guys should try also. it was da idea from my friend, he s real crazy though...

guys..i was in CyanogenMod-7_EAv6.. i wanted to flash this rom..but i encounter problem..i had already dl the zip file..when i reboot into recovery, the phone stuck in the boston screen with the upper right there show enter Recovery mode and ntg else happen d..any solution for this??

edit: i solved it by reinstall rom manager.. what type of partition i use for link2sd?? i try ext 4 it say mount script unable to created..

I'm back

Well it's been a long weekend, sorry for inactive for a while.
About the showcase, well it doesn't go well as I hope, it seems that Android OS still have some specific market, companies are under contract to only use OS from Foxconn or others. So I am a bit disappointed by this, but at least some have shown interest.

As for the project, ICS is available early next January, although it is still raw and I'm still testing some codes to make it stable.

As for some problem I read in the thread, slow rotation problem are not cause by the ROM, in fact that bug is cause by the kernel itself, so far the most usable kernel are by edgar's, #3 to specific as it have to smoothest accelerometer sensor calibration allowing smooth rotation and accelerometer powered games.

One way to test it are by sensor calibration app provided, after flashing a kernel, try to see if the bubble in the app are smooth when rotation the phone, if the smoothness is important to your daily phone usage, I recommend using ubuntu kernel by edgar's

white is ok,but as for me, white doesnt match da edge cover, try silver or maybe carbon fibre silver mode, i recommend carbon fibre sticker coz its cheaper and easy to apply. and shiny too.

bout ur showcase, dont really care bout it or feels down bout it, people around asia doent really appreciate what android OS offer to them. but u musnt let that thing let u down, keep up ur nice work, giv em some times and i m sure they will appreciate u and ur work. Actually i dont really know how to console others, sorry if it doesnt helping.

Been on CyanogenMod for a while . Time to try something new . So ... what should I do ? Can I flash from Cyanogen or need to flash it back to 2.1 ? and what's googleapps ?

my experience is that...
if flash from 2.1 directly to gaia..will got screen rotate issues :< even after wipe..

What I did was
- on 2.1, flash to cm7ea6
- wipe
- on cm7, flash to gaia
- wipe

no screen problems or any problems anymore... weird

1) bout all da problem stated HERE, its all because way of flashing, the method i means, it all can be solved by changing method, maybe depends on type of fone i guess.
2) bout battery, of course, it about kernel, but for almost a month using ur own kernel without changing, i can see the battery stat are worsened, applying other kernel doesnt help as when i charging when sleep mode, da stat will be messy, dont know what the cause.i even callibrated almost 4 times for a month juz wanna see if its helping.
3) wifi also seem quite slow on detecting and lock to reserve point. i need to reboot to make sure its lock on to access point i created.

i guess that all, bout da ram and cpu usage, its was excellent so no con on that. my opinion is u maybe need to create or recreated(modified) kernel only for mygingerb to make it excellent rom in term of long use and for stability. sorry if any of my word offend u.

flash from cm7.1 nbo for excel stability and no error occur, and from my exp on flashing other kernel to mygingerb, DO NOT CHANGE KERNEL, stick with da provided one, its for ur own good, do wiping on cache part, dalvik and factory reset before and after and make sure u callibrate ur battery, do not wipe battery stat from cwm as it doesnt really wipe da stat, use app provided from market for free and follow da instruction provided. And taskiller is not recommended coz its unstabilize da system, juz stop it at task manager.

google apps or gapps is application provided from google for android user, its contain necessary app for daily use.

second time i m asking angelictears, is there any fix for gaia? for tethering and battery fix, seems like u really focusing on miui or ics, but isnt better to fix this one first?
