Best buy is Sony BDP-S380. No hiccup in playing my Star Wars BD.

So far i know is that Cinavia will work if the player has their netwrok running into the internet. U can try disable the S380 from any netwrok connection and try to prevent the player to do a Cinavia audio verification to some servers by via internet.see if it helps or not?
Your friend's BDP 140 is Cinavia infected player or not??
*
non-networked BD players are free from Cinavia? hmm.gif
If that is true, then everyone will just have to unplugged the LAN cable/wifi.

hi need advise from anyone who knows about home theater system...
I hooked up my Sony blu ray player s485 to my Dennon amp...and when i was playing bluray movies with DTS  HD M audio,
how come i don't see the DTS HD MA appear on the amp screen but instead the surround sound is stated MULTI IN.
What does it mean? Does this means that its already DTS HD MA.

Before this i was using my PS3 to connect into the amp..and usually it will auto detect the surround sound and the DTS HD Master will appear instantly on the amp screen when the movie starts.

Just wpndering is there any prob with my player or system? or its meant to be MULTI IN since the player has DTS HD... ..
Any Bros here can help out....

Thanks!

looks like the BD player was set to decode the audio instead of letting the AVR to decode. audio settings can be changed in the BD player.

If the BD player can play Battle:Los Angeles (test for 1 minute) without problem, is it confirmed that the player is Cinavia free?

I guess majority is just like to watch the movie and don't really too much into the detail of sound or those special feature. Is totally ok to get the most budget player
*
Yes, majority of people just wanna know the story...hence watching a movie. True videophile immerse into the movie.
If a person just wanna know the story, buy the VCD copy at Speedy store.
