LYN forum really Useful...Just installed Chainfire3D PRO 3.3 at my SGS II..
Anyone try out the option on "PRO : fix market settings "? and PRO Pre- App OpenGL settings"
*
fix market settings nothing much wan, i dont even know whats the difference. Per app is superb, it works nicely, but the main thing about chainfire 3 is the EGL driver!

like a user posted a few pages back, 16x msaa FTW!

*you and ipong fren opens nova and compares graphics quality*
fren: looks like same only the quality
me: oh? wait, lemme on my 16x anti aliasing
fren: le fuuuuu

actually what the article said is true.
when i used sgs2 and sensation, many times it nearly slip and fell when i try to reach out to opposite corner with my thumb using one handed.

so to protect my investment, always have to use 2 hands, especially during web browsing or responding to notifications area. anyway, i was extemely frustrated and luckily managed to sell them at a good price to android lovers.

of course, others with longer fingers or fingernails may have different opinion,
it's perfectly OK with similan.
after all this is a discussion.  cool.gif
*
you know what's the funniest part? you dont even know fingernails cant be used on capacitive touchscreens doh.gif , inb4 ipong fellas just know how to tok

Ya..ya that's true. It quite hillarious when you find someone got problems using the phone due to own ignorance then suddenly say the phone is no good
Some people ~~sigh~~
*
swiftkeyboard x really gooding, i also using it now coz swype no matter how nice, still i feel swiftkey x more accurate and faster. Not that i am against you, i do agree with you, in this few pages i have the same opinion as you, people that dont know how to use android and go around blaming the phone.

I bet soon samsung shall released another batch comes with slcd instead of super Amoled plus. Haha. I wonder what is those users reaction. Haha. Perhaps they shall argue that display isn't the most important but the performance does. Lol XD
*
what performance? SGS2 has been always the SCREEN, thing people see first is SCREEN and how they judge also based on SCREEN, some will wow so nice colours/so bright/so big! and nobody gives a shit about dual core or gpu unless they remember sgs2 advertisement. So ipong with their small scree, i see once lazy wan see ad, so SMALL, colours so DULL, and what's worst, most of them put the matte sp, retina display also become matte display ad la! . That being said, i'm still a very proud owner of the limited edition non-g version tongue.gif quad core Mali-400 GPU

So does it mean that version G cannot customize the rom? What i understand is the non-g is unable to apply on g version. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Any limitation for version G? I really like the white version T__T
*
cant apply, so far non-g got root only

~~lol~~
psstt..destEX, don't talk too technical otherwise some ppl won't understand one. Like quad core Mali-400 GPU.
Then they will go huhh., what quad core? It's dual-core lor. Their brain too small to differentiate between GPU and CPU :-)
No NFC except Korean version
*
LOL! they should now! EPAL can so blatantly boast that they have DUAL CORE GRAPHICS in their event of ip4s, so i'm going to add QUAD CORE to Mali-400 from now on, dual core can go dai

QUOTE(Jet23sky @ Oct 9 2011, 08:27 PM)
Is there any other super phones that will be available in couple months? The latest i know is google nexus prime. Is there any phone released in few months?

I think i will get the white color. I hope once they released custom roms, then i would be very happy :S
*
my suggestion: wait for early of next year, Jan/Fen lidat got the Mobile World Congress, then you'll see all those new phones pop out

QUOTE(rain0520 @ Oct 9 2011, 08:55 PM)
Lol. my bad. misunderstood. Haha. but, no offense, i'm wondering if i shall get ip4s. Haha. though sgs2 is hot now, i miss my ip4 that elegant, robust magical design. as well as its weight. unlike sgs2 weight like a toy @.@
*
dude, go to ipong thread and post that there. speaking of ipongs my fwen changed his ipong 4 2 times in a year ad laugh.gif first time was ipong fell from car seat height, back and fron glass cracked doh.gif
second time, recently, his earpiece at the top of the phone died, cant hear conversation must use loudspeaker.
I have another friend also have the ear peice problem.
thing is, no phone is perfect, i just dislike apple fan's ways of going around criticizing other phones when they have the same shit but keep deny deny

since it is not release, it is dumb to think that it won't work.

but based on apple's track record, many people are confident apple will weave the magic again.
*
i agree with you, i'm interested in siri but not 4s, how practical it is, we will see if this will change how we use smartphones again

What change? That operate-via-voice thingy had been around for a while nao.

i know la brader, but we all know no matter how good the voice is, they have their limitations, cant understand chinese names, msia slang and all, no matter how bad it is, i still look forward towards new ways of phone usage. If this siri app can breach the gap and fix those limitations, it'll change how we use smartphone, right? i'm also not an apple fan, but i'm interested in what's in store for the future, dont have to be so negative wan dude, so let's see if this siri app can do the impossible or not

agree that navigation of Google Maps is good...but the only down side is it requires data connection at all time...I got lost once due to a sudden data connection drop  doh.gif I've also tried Papago...quite disappointing with it as it don't seems to take common route (result in longer travel time) to my destinations...now I'm considering Sygic...but not sure it well worth the money or not...  hmm.gif
*
Google Map Labs, cache the map la, its very simple, 4 boxes and i cached the whole Kuala Lumpur, port klang, up to batu caves, 1 box and i cahced whole seremban, and i think1 box is enuff to cache whole penang also, then i just have to use like normal~

i believe papago has an option, or preference, prefer highway to travelling through towns, always choose shortest route, avoid traffic lights, etc. all gps apps should have that

+1 just wanted to say that
