W.O.W 8hrs no drain?!?! Insane batt life! Why dont go for ninpo 2.1.3? Batista70 3.7.7 is KH3 right?

Ur android os is kinda high,i wonder if same case like me hmm.gif

time to do my test on whether my apps r causing me batt drain
*
Yeah..3.7.7 is KH3..
Ninpo 2.1.3 will remove bootanimation..and seems 2.1.2 more stable..
I tired Batista70 Foxhoud 1.0..2.0..2.1..but it giving me problem..
I tried also touch power+ 2.1..got random hang..

So i suspect KI series Rom is not suitable fot me..

New record from me..9 hours idle no battery drain..

[attachmentid=2476426]

Guys..would u all recommend use newer kernel which build for KI3 in KH3 Custom ROM?

Until now I'm still dilemma what cause I having problem in Batista70 Foxhoud Series..Abyss kernel..hang..random reboot..Siyah kernel..same problem..

And data connection problem..which I post earlier..
If data connection problem(connected..but no internet)..I reboot..it will stuck at step after shut down animation..

Flash other version modem doesnt help at all..

If 100% is perfect..I would say this phone is 99% thumbup.gif

Heat issue? So far it didn't burn my pocket or my skin..even I play game while charging.. icon_rolleyes.gif

Yellow triangle? Lol..this is not problem..this is the warning from flashing kernel, ROM using ODIN..can be remove easily.. sweat.gif

Pink spot? U always snap picture with white background in low light condition? shocking.gif

No phone is truly perfect, not even apple iPhone.

So it's up to individual to decide whether the shortcomings is acceptable or fixable or not.
*
Thats why I said IF..I'm just giving an example of measuring..
Apple iPhone cannot compete with Galaxy S2..at least for me..
iPad 2 for me is useless and boring when it compare to Galaxy Tab 10.1..at least for me as well..

All statements are based on my personal opinion and is not represent for all Galaxy S2 users wink.gif

I tried both papago and sygic.

sygic's maps are based off google map's base map. Its not TOO bad, ive travelled to penang, langkawi, KL and seremban with it, maybe for some guarded community it does not have the roads, but that was the worst.

papago has better maps due to community support by malfreemaps.

however papago's UI looks pretty cheap and downright ugly.

since i'm an aesthetics person and sygic does the job (may not be as comprehensive but i get to my destination) i decide to stick with sygic
*
But sadly Malfreemaps stop updating map for Papago X5..

enough all. Get back on topic.

i had a chance to borrow the SGS2 for 2 days from a close friend to do a test with my iphone 4. i like the sgs2. i really do. but what i was REALLY hoping for was superb camera quality of the sgs2 which video reviews were showing. it is a good camera yes. especially against the stock iphone 4 cam. but once i use a third party cam, i couldnt really differentiate the two pictures between sgs2 and iphone 4 cam. when i zoomed in i got the same quality.

i love the UI tho, and the fact that i can drag drop widgets at will and i love the PULSE and AP MOBILE stuff.

which is why i didnt get the sgs2. im hoping the prime can blow me away ^.^ for now i get my android kicks with my tab 10.1

i see why android is famous, its like all the old windows mobile fans migrated to android after the windows phone debacle. dont talk about the dev but about the community, id say the android community is a direct descendant/legacy of windows mobile. lol flashing my android brought back so much memories
*
Yeah..I'm on of the Winmo user jump to Android and no regret..flashing is fun..custom ROM is great.. biggrin.gif
But of course I read lesser in Android compared to Winmo laugh.gif

Wanted to ask:

I did the GPS fix method suggested by another forum member awhile back. The method asked to turn off sensor aiding.

Does sensor aiding help at all with getting a lock? I know using the a-GPS does....but what about the sensors?
*
I use the sensor..it stated there enhance positioning..so I guess it's useful..whether I use aGPS or sensor or not..I also able to lock GPS at 6s wink.gif
