Even thou i m not SGSII user but i bet other users (middle age) would happy to have this feature without eye strain..

KH4 modem problem is when u over some place no data connection, the data connection will not connected when ur data connection available and wakelock seems reduced.

i don't quite get what you mean about the data connection part. Did u mean battery life is better on KH4 modem? Battery life over one day is impressive but i see your phone was awake quite alot? As for the wakelocks, are those all or there's more below? After rooted and using tb to freeze some apps i kind of get better battery life, as in i don't see that much of awake time when my screen is off. But the number of wake locks did not reduce, still getting like 30+ but most of them just lasted for few seconds so i guess it's okay. Really don't have the time to crack my head to look into it. =/

Im getting sick of finding out my batt probs, 10% drop in 10hrs,and there were only 2 little wakelocks i give up already,i'll just try to bear with it,weird thing is i already added dual core script,shudnt the batt be awesome?

check all ur apps especially those got auto backup features and c u gt turn on auto backup or not? if not, then jz live with it ba.

I dont know if this is just happening to me, just wanna share.

KI8 androidos process percentage is quite high(30-40%), compared to 10-18% in KI3. Often higher than 'display'. My display brightness is fix to 25%.
I dont think i recommend KI8. Until they release newer version, stick with KI3.

i think is all depend on your pattern of usage..
if your phone is idle most of the time... your android os percentage will be higher then the display.. if you use the browser to browse internet alot or play some games.. then is the other way round...

i dont sync anything in background, wifi and data was off, no apps running in background, so i expected maybe 2-3 hrs 1% drop rate. plus i already put in dual core script

just a thought of mine, it will be helpful if we include a list of service centres where it is possible to claim warranty succesfully (rooted device, of coz) that way it saves all the worries of imei being blacklisted

I've been using KI8 for 2 days.
I owez turn off my phone when charging.
When turn on, the percentage is still around 40-50%.
When using web, percentage often more than 'display', which never happen previously regardless of my usage.
I'll try to flash again tonight, with official rom (last time was frankenstein, but i doubt the result will be different).
The best battery consumption i've ever had is with KI3. With normal usage, could use more than 2 days, with auto-brightness and sync enabled.

Hope KJ1 will release this month.
