i see. But the invoice should be adequate. But i suppose Msian gov is to give headache not serve!

Do they even have special custom seals??  whistling.gif
*
They do have custom tape to tape back the box after they inspect them.

However, in my experience buying silver from overseas, the custom will call me to their office and asked me to open the box in front of them and let them see the items. Then they will take the invoice and see how much they are going to charge me in terms of tax.

Yes
The premium is too high for a bar.....its not exactly numis.

Restricted mintage makes numis all the more valuable......even if some are made of copper    nod.gif

Its nice just to have one or two

1/2oz is the one always have highest premium. Yes, 2oz has unlimited mintage, but look at past year mintage of lunar series, the mintage of 2oz is  10k-20k only. Even the dragon is very hot, we give the 2oz mintage 10 time more than previous year lunar coin. It is only 100k to 200k. still less than 300k of 1oz.

So guys, i recommend your guys buy more 2oz coin if the price is reasonable. You will be rewarded.

RM400 for 1oz dragon is damm cheap. buy as more as you can, after it sold out by apmex and gainesville coins, the price will soar again if the silver price soars as well. But, it is long term investment, don't always think of earning quick money..... Holding for long term, you will be rewarded.

The 1oz tiger just issued 2 years ago, the ampex price now is 109.99, even higher than dragon......
Above is just my opinion. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK......

wat if the tax for silver coin in msia is abolished, all silver will be cheaper by 10%.. then you might be losing money then...

Hi guys, in case I don't get the 9 coloured dragons from China, I am looking at the baby dragon or the silver rectangle dragon from Perth Mint (new release). I guess it will be limited mintage. Any idea which would be a better investment? Did any one buy last year's Rabbit 4 rectangle set? Any views as to whether they make good investment?

Thanks.
*
If you have lubang for the 9 coloured dragons, please share with me ... rclxms.gif

2012 Year of the Dragon Gold Coloured Proof Coins
2012 Year of the Dragon 1oz Silver Proof Rectangular Four-Coin Set
Baby Dragon - 2011 1/2oz Silver Proof Coin

These three will be released by Perthmint next month.

BTW Rabbit 4 rectangle set still available in Perthmint, which is surprising since only 3k mintage only. I guess people do not like rabbits

i dont purposely Escape......its just delivered to me

i believe that if the coins are numistatic, they are Not subject to taxes.
However bullions are taxable IMO.....i have never ordered SILVER bullion coins.
*
not true.. i got taxed no matter bullion or numis coin... just the matter of how diligent the custom or processing officers are... maybe there are too many parcels to be checked in west malaysia so they just randomly checked them... while me in east malaysia is not so lucky... cry.gif
