Dear Silver Investor,

                                                =fast forward=

The silver investors are advised to purchase only silver bars and silver rounds if the objective of investors is the silver price appreciation. If you buy bullion silver coins from local Malaysian dealers that do not pay Government import and sales tax, that means you are in possession of smuggled goods in Malaysia.

I hope the above helps Malaysia silver investors in their "investment of a lifetime over the next 3 to 5 years".

Best Regards

A very good point.

How do we know the items that we are buying are smuggled as the item been exchange hands. unless each of it come with a proof payment made for tax.(I have not own any silver product yet, so i am assuming there is none) or there a hologram stickers like CDs.

in this market, there are many strong player around.
I'm just a small fry lah.
You never know how big the player are?
Some can afford 1 ton of silver. some 1/4 ton of silver.
That big.

market wise, it getting more and more unattractive lah. Price war has already been especially in facebook SLS.
well, getting more difficult to sell lah. Sell based on price. Susah lah.
the only player will remain are those in good location which can do COD easily.

if you got your $ stuck for various reason, supplier no stock, brought the wrong stock which cannot sell, you are finish for 1-2 mths. as far as i concerned the money is dead. You cannot do business with the cash tie down.
think hard who and what you want to buy lah.
*
Very true just join in SLS last night and saw the movement there really fast from 10-11pm. like pasar. my internet line abitt slow cant keep up the pace. good item gone in a blink. shocking.gif

yes, sound about right. But u can get it cheaper if you buy a whole roll. check ebay
*
Thanks, what I actualy wondering those 1 oz silver dragon I saw be it at SLS or ebay is the one that is listed AUD102.27.
And it also listed as

"AUSTRALIAN LUNAR SERIES II 2012 YEAR OF THE DRAGON SILVER PROOF COIN ISSUE "
and
"Numbered Certificates of Authenticity"

so I am a bit confuse here is it the same product? I only saw once Coloured edition with a number cert.
side note it is going at 6++. this is crazy lah.

For collection do you prefer to keep the normal lunar or glided issue?

Personally, I would keep he gilded version. it looks nice and worth showing off occasionally. The normal one was limited mintage, so it is more for investment for high returns.

agreed. I would fancy gilded over normal then only the red dragon(even the red have the most lease mintage).

QUOTE(Nidz @ Oct 16 2011, 09:12 PM)
as far as i know, there are 4 main different type of 2012 lunar dragon by perth mint.

1- 1oz Proof coin (mintage 5000) sold out within 2 hours of sale. on ebay is around AUD150-AUD500. so far i havent found this in SLS. if im not mistaken, prophetjul managed to get 1 unit.
2- 1oz Colored coin (mintage 10000) priced around rm420-600 in SLS. this is the red dragon
3- 1oz Gilded coin (mintage 50000) priced around rm420-600 in SLS. this is the gold dragon
4- 1oz Bullion coin (mintage 300000) priced around rm380-450 in SLS. this is the normal coin u saw in SLS, i think.

only the first three type comes with box and numbered certificate of authenticity.
i dont really know what is the different between the proof coin and the bullion coin, i havent seen a proof dragon yet.
*
Thank you very much for the info. perth mint web site sure confuse me. rclxub.gif

I did a search and found out the proof dragon having the same design as the normal dragon. Where by the proof have a shiny mirror effect on the background and a frosty/matty effect on the dragon. Is just like negative effect.

PAMP SUISSE is famous for the brand. Buyers are paying premium for the "brand".
As a gold silver seller told me, 1oz of silver is still 1oz of silver, dont bother to pay extra for the brand
*
Ohhyeahh pamp suisse = branding power(design, packaging).
I think those who interested in investing gold/silver might have at lease 1 or 2 bars of PS.

SilverKini is selling:
1 dirham - rm25
5 dirham - rm125
10 dirham - rm250

i talked to my silver manufacturer friend, he has previously minted dirham for kelantan government and kedah government. therefore there is no cost for the mold. i have worked out a price with him that can provide:
1 dirham - rm20 (20% off)
5 dirham - rm98 (21.6% off)
10 dirham - rm195 (22% off)

is there any buyer interested?

my friend not only has minted dirham for kelantan government and kedah government but also local jewelry shop and shipped his silver to overseas (US and Australia). if anyone interested to get dirham with above price, please drop me a PM. if anyone would like to distribute dirham, i'm sure we can work out a even lower price.

do let me know what u guys think!
*
Intresting. is it legal to mint kelantan dirham. i belived your friend does not hold the rights of kelantan dirham.

just like books. the publisher hold the rights, not the printer.
