i think what you mean by brand is mintage.get the popular mintage like canadian maple leaf, american eagle etc those are relatively safe. its really not that hard to liquidate your precious metal. unless you have a 100kg denomination bar.small denominations are easy to sell so dont worry about liquidation unless you have a super huge denomination bar
