This is a beautiful coin! And it's a limited mintage too, 250,000pcs only. And to pay CAD20.00 for CAD20.00 face value, it's definitely worth it! This is one of the few silver coins that has face value higher than silver itself. This coin is about 1/4 oz only. If somebody can get a hand in this product, I want a few pcs too. But they limit to 3pcs order per household only, i supposed it is only for Canadian residence.

collected some silver bars from MySmartGold.

Marcus is very professional in handling the whole transaction, from me first time calling until i collected the silver just now, i'm totally satisfied. he is also friendly and easy to deal with. whenever i called him, i will definitely reach him. even if occasionally he didnt pick up the call, he will call me back very soon. the last time i called that he didnt pick up, he returned my call in less than 2 minutes.

interesting discussion with him that many customers from 1StopGold are also not happy with 1StopGold.

here are few comparisons between MySmartGold and 1StopGold:
1. most of the time, no one picks up 1StopGold phone number. where as MySmartGold i'm able to reach them EVERYTIME

2. complicated process in dealing with 1StopGold. where as for MySmartGold easy and smooth. for example, 1StopGold has some policies:
- first they want to conduct an interview (wth? i dont have to interview with the vendor even when i'm buying a house, this is small little piece of silver);
- second they said they will send out a Sales Confirmation to confirm the deal / amount (which i didnt get it 2 out of 3 times).
in MySmartGold, no BS and they will even SMS the details to me.

3. upon receiving the silver, Marcus attended to me also right after i step into the office, then weighted the silver in front of me and shared some silver storage tips with me. in 1StopGold they make me waited outside for 15-20 minutes every time.

4. when i talked to Marcus, i feel like i'm doing business with him. when i talked to people in 1StopGold, i feel like i'm a beggar and i'm owing them money. what an attitude 1StopGold has!

It's legal tender, but if you change it with a local money changer they will only recognize the face value and not the metal value.

Since so many here are interested in the PAMP 1oz Lunar Dragon, I'm thinking of doing a bulk order. What you guys think? Here's the terms:

- Any quantity you like, the more the merrier laugh.gif
- COD in PJ, Sunway Pyramid area only
- RM170 nett per piece. Unless there's a wild swing in spot price this should be my cost
- For insurance incase anybody ffk after I placed the order, I need 50% upfront (RM85?). The remaining 50% can be paid once the goods arrive.
- PM me if you're interested. Include your quantity and contact number. I'm working now so have limited access but will try to reply to you
- This deal is dependant on bulk volume for cheaper shipping spread. If there are not enough ppl ordering, I might decide not to go ahead

Anything else I might have missed out?

Godslove, yes the face value is higher than spot. But we probably can't get many of these.
And yes, it's more for collection purpose. Coz limited mintage of 250,000pcs only.
If you use this in Canada, then maybe the banks there would accept at face value.

Normally they won't cuz they can't liquidate it back to their customers. But if they are smart enough to know that there is metal value in it I don't see any reason why they wouldn't want it smile.gif My 2 cents.

Wow bigwolf, that's a nice gesture.

Since the price of the pamp dragon is not going to be too expensive, I think it's worth chipping in, count me in for 10 pcs.

Do remember to ensure you include freight and remind everyone in case there is tax, it will be split evenly.

I'll PM you my order again.

chef

At the current spot price, worth buying a few to keep.
