I am also with iPad 2 running on iOS 7.0.4, so far no issue like what you stated. I suggest you restore the iOS FW again and check whether the problem still persist. Your iPad may have respring to the "safe mode", that's why the background become black and do you get the wallpaper back after you restart your iPad after that?

and the whole ipad very lag during the wallpaper become black...

I suspect something have mess up with your system, you can try a hard reset first or maybe iOS restoring. I don't have issues with my iPad 2 running on stock 7.0.4 or after jailbreak, just a lil' lag compares to iOS 6.

so far no encounter the problem...

sometime need reopen the app sometime just need wait several minute or longer..

Try this, restore the iOS and set it as a new iPad instead of restoring the settings(do make a backup of your settings just incase it's important). Check if you still encounter the problem again.

facing the app force close several time per day,
last time on ios6 no this problem...
so does it mean ios7 cause it?

Guess not as it was running fine on my iPad 2 and jailbreaked as well.

i haf a 2 yr old ipad2...running flawlessly...altho sometimes got prob connecting to wifi

if got budget, go for 64gb, else 32gb.
also need to consider you usage first.
if you is heavy gamer/download video, etc, 64gb more suitable.
if only for browsing/reading, etc like light work, 32gb already enough..

Not advisable to buy 3rd party as specifically in 7.04 ( not earlier versions) the ipad will warn you about incompatible cable n will not charge it. All my 2 3rd party cables bought for previous iphone/ipad is now useless. Such 3rd party stuffs will possibly provide you with jerky display n audio sync issues. Buy these cheap n faced the risk of dissapointment.
