Hello guys, after working for a few years, finally have enough money for a house. Just signed the contract! Absolutely delighted! Even though it's an old house. Here are some pictures of it. Intend to do some renovation. Will keep this thread updated. I have all the time in the world so i'll probably be doing quite a bit of DIY. The house (Parents and grandma in picture) The front yard The backyard (removed 3 rambutan trees with a parang last week. Arms flailing at my sides now) Bedrooms for future kids. Enough for four. The headache room. The floor's all coming up because of the roof leak. This post has been edited by The Analyst: Sep 29 2011, 08:39 PM

It'll be great! Major reno required - basically, everything has to be gutted except the walls and redone. Roof tiles, electrical wiring, plumbing, flooring, bathrooms....... which is what I'm doing to my house. Almost coming to the end, and wayyyy over my initial budget.
