guys, currently i m using Skil 2414 Cordless Drill for casual DIY use.
can drill through the big grey brick wall with no sweat.
When it comes to the red small brick and concrete, I cannot penetrate not even 2mm  sweat.gif  sweat.gif

now thinking to change with Cordless Drill Bosch GSB-1080-2-Li comes with impact function 18,000 beat per minutes.
is this recommended? anyone had experience using this drill?

Guys what do you all think about einhell rt-rh32 rotary hammer... Very powerful and going at below rm300 at Lazada... Actually wanted to drill 6mm hole for my curtain only... Having tough time drilling it with my Bosch gsb1080.. But NVR know in the future might want to chisel some wall with the einhell...you think its worth the money for.the einhell ? But they only give 3 months warranty

Hi guys,

I bought the skil 1716 from Lazada with RM337 including delivery fees. Pretty satisfy with its performance, which allows me to drill a 6mm hole for anchor within 20 seconds. I think this is quite a good choice for those with low budget like me.
*
hi may I know how you find you skil 1716 ? Is it effective in drilling concrete wall ? have you tried the chiselling mode ? Was thinking of getting this as it is cheaper.... Makita hr2470 cost RM150 more than this.. how is the build quality ?

create a new gemfive account....use duitraya30 ( RM98 - RM30 = RM68 ). There might/might not be a shipping charges as the purchase is less than RM80 after discount...

but personally i would rather but cheap bosch grinder than this dong cheng grinder...

18V mostly for contractor. More power, longertime but also more heavy.

DIY, go for 12V.

12V means the 10.8 series of Bosch ?

You two really hardcore. My measuring tape never broke, they go missing only.

My cordless jigsaw has arrived from Amazon.
Cheaper than local and includes an L-Boxx. Jigsaw made in hungary.

Should be sufficient for occasional concrete drilling.
Classify as DIY range of tools?

so the bosch GRO and Fl12 making it's way to you now?  drool.gif
i would recommend the bosch multi purpose tool ( GOP 10.8v / 18v ). making a plunge hole in the furniture is a breeze using this...and it's not only capable to make hole, it can use for sanding, cutting, scrapping and so much more...

check this video out...

how much this thing cost ? is it effective for sanding and removing tiles grout ?

Well, my main application will be cutting MDF, normal wood my Dremel power tool already enough to handle.
Tried to use Dremel to cut MDF this afternoon, after breaking a drill bit and another got burnt mark(rpm at max of 35000), I'm sure I can't use it to cut MDF for prolong period. Using it to cut circle maybe still ok, but for straight cut, I can only say : no way man.

hei bro .. notice that you are into woodworking.. may I ask where do you get your wood from like MDF ? Any idea where to get laminated MDF or perhaps laminates to glue onto MDF ? Will also love to know where you source you woods from like 2x4 wood
