guys, currently i m using Skil 2414 Cordless Drill for casual DIY use.
can drill through the big grey brick wall with no sweat.
When it comes to the red small brick and concrete, I cannot penetrate not even 2mm   

now thinking to change with Cordless Drill Bosch GSB-1080-2-Li comes with impact function 18,000 beat per minutes.
is this recommended? anyone had experience using this drill?

i would recommend the bosch multi purpose tool ( GOP 10.8v / 18v ). making a plunge hole in the furniture is a breeze using this...and it's not only capable to make hole, it can use for sanding, cutting, scrapping and so much more...

Well, my main application will be cutting MDF, normal wood my Dremel power tool already enough to handle.
Tried to use Dremel to cut MDF this afternoon, after breaking a drill bit and another got burnt mark(rpm at max of 35000), I'm sure I can't use it to cut MDF for prolong period. Using it to cut circle maybe still ok, but for straight cut, I can only say : no way man.
