Hi Sifus

I'm newbie on driller.
I've read all 69 pages but dun quite understand on impact drill. Impact drill is take longer time and strength to penetrate the wall? If the product mention drill driver means 2 in 1?

I live in condo. No idea the wall is concrete or brick.
1) For now, i want a driller to install cable cover strip on the wall and drill hole for hanging aircon remote control cover.
2) For future, i want to drill holes in bathroom tiles and wet kitchen tiles for hanging accessories. Maybe some repair work.

3) Another thing is i want cordless for polishing my car bcoz condo's car wash and parking no power point.

Rotary hammer seem like too over for my need?
Does GSB 14, 4-2 sufficient for all my needs? This drill will not crack the tiles?

My 2 cents.

For all three purposes you mentioned above, a normal Corded Impact Drill will do (not Impact driver, or screw driver, ie. GSR series).  Impact drill can easily drill holes in cement wall, with proper drill bit.  If unfortunately your wall is made of Concrete, Impact Drill will have some problem.

But generally, installing cable cover, aircon remote holder, and tiles drilling require just a normal impact Drill. And yes, your GSB can do the trick. I have tried GSB-10.8 with proper bit, also can drill a two inch deep hole (size 6mm), but takes slightly longer.

For tiles, remember to use a Tile drill bit to make a beautiful round hole first.

Ok thanks.. glad to hear that. After drill the holes, thats it, not going to use anymore.
So want to make good use of this driller to polish and wax my car

Anyone own bosch cordless product?
The battery 1.5Ah for 18v can operate how long if use in vacuum or driller

Any hardware store recommend sell cheaper bosch?
