sencan & DCA, anyone have experience using these power tool brand? or own it?
saw a lot these brand at various hardware shop lately.
*
DCA ar...

i tot d price very attractive... have a look at a shop at pasar road
the price is like 100-200 rm cheaper than bosch but the quality is way way lower...
price even more expensive than Skill....

if DCA is 40-50% cheaper than bosch , i might consider buying it...

how to use jig saw... ? it can't cut through as the backed of the wood frame is the cement wall

*
my bad, i misread ur post.. tongue.gif

u wana cut the frame.., best way i think is to remove the pvc door first...
then u can actually use hand saw to do the job, yes hard wood will take some time,
angle grinder can, frame oni mar... cut til max dept of disc then finish off using hand saw lor biggrin.gif
just make sure let the disc cool a bit dun cut continuously for too long ( scare over heat)

the osci multi tool looks "nice" how sure how durable those blades are..

the wood cutting they all cut all those soft wood, not those hard wood where if u dont drill a hole and u hammer or screw the wood will splinter/cracked those type of hardware not sure if the blades can cut it or not
*
osci tool can cut of cos, mebe no nid to remove door if u use that tool, but to save money for a small job
dun hv to buy la... just angle grinder can dy....

from popmechanics...

http://www.popularmechanics.com/home/revie...rete-comparison

"...If you need to drive a screw into concrete, you've got two choices. Either you use a large rotary hammer or a drill driver with a hammer-drill function. Both tools pound the bit while it spins, pulverizing concrete, but the two differ in the mechanisms that do the actual pounding. In a rotary hammer, a cylinder of air is compressed by a piston, which in turn beats the bit. In a hammer drill, two ribbed metal discs click in and out against one another, causing impact. Among tradesmen working daily, rotary hammers are preferred because of their superior strength and shock-absorbing qualities. For the occasional user, the large, bulky tools are often overkill—a powerful all-purpose drill driver with a hammer-drill setting makes more sense...."

Hmm, i hope can get 1 in 200~300 bucks. RM400 bucks is a little tight budget for me.

SKIL Rotary Hammer 3 modes, 550W, 1550rpm, 2.2kg, 1715 enough for the job?
*
