Don't use that high la. Mostly around 15krpm.

It is due to my force. sad.gif  That's why I know which wan bend easily.

But sometime I use air rotary tools. This wan I don't no what rpm when full speed. I whack only.
*
when i first started with rotary tool many many years back, i also simply whack it with the high speed also....thinking of the faster the speed the faster i can get the job done.... tongue.gif most of the time, the work piece will get damage... vmad.gif

now i always started with the lower speed and do few pass instead...result are much better and also bits can last longer too... biggrin.gif

just a friendly reminder, today is the last of the cybersale...

there's a 30% lazada code for max RM25 discount, still quite good discount to get those dremel bit.....limit the each transaction to RM70. create new lazada account if necessary for more small purchase.... biggrin.gif

only get those sold by CT Hardware as their price is always the cheapest compare to other vendor....also don't forget to use shopback for cash rebate ya...

anyway, i just pull a trigger an a dremel router table attachment ( dremel 231 ) today....let see how well this router table perform. it has a mix review from amazon....but for this price...no harm trying out biggrin.gif

You mean the dremel scroll saw?
Well, when using jigsaw mode, this one can handle up to 10cm thick material. Doubt dremel has such power.
For scroll saw mode, it should be more powerful than dremel as its powered by a jigsaw.

How much vibration would highly depend on the quality if the jigsaw.

I dont have space in my room for a dedicated bandsaw & scroll saw so I think this one will be a good alternative for DIY works.

The cutting guide I ordered from rockler has arrived yesterday. Now I can cut straight when ripping 8x4 sheet wood.

Rockler use extra wood to reinforce the packing so it won't get damage or bent during delivery to Malaysia.
That rockler product magazine has so many things...

wah, you really spend on those expensive jigs huh.... biggrin.gif thumbsup.gif

i'm only using the aluminium curtain rail with torque lock clamp as cutting guide.... cry.gif

maybe if got the free time can custom made a proper cutting guide using those aluminium curtain rail...cheap and easily available locally laugh.gif

I did try to cut some scrap to be guide, but event to scrap is not really straight. It will always curve a bit at the middle.
After a few tries I said to hell with it just buy a proper guide.  tongue.gif
The circular saw you use is how many inch? Mine is 3 1/4" (85mm).
Maybe larger size circular saw will cut more straight due to larger diameter?
*
i guess we both had the same little handy circular saw, bosch gks 10.8v biggrin.gif

you can buy this bosch cutting guide for ripping a smaller width, it much cheaper and handy too...i forgot how much i bought it last time but definitely less than RM50 for both guide...

for ripping 4'x8' usually i just cut it freehand or use curtain rod as guide...

Great guide there !

Long time ago I tried to make a speaker, so from there I realised that precision cut is super important even for wood work. DIY wood guide I posted earlier actually works really well.

May I know where did you buy the bosch guide for jigsaw and circular saw ?  I have a similar jigsaw actually.
*
i bought mine from ct hardware...

for a more precision wood cutting, i would rather use the miter saw / table saw instead. biggrin.gif

Well, I am aiming for

Cordless 18V circular saw
Cordless 18V 3 mode rotary hammer
cordless 18V grinder or the 10.8V one?

Maybe
belt sander

Amazon sale price is good but with USD now at 4.5 not worth the hassle anymore.
*
I'm looking for the 18V circular saw too..... tongue.gif . Amazon bare tool going for USD99 only shocking.gif , plus shipping to MY, it would cost around RM700++. Let me know if you can find a good deal locally for this ya cheers.gif

Also looking for the 18v planner too biggrin.gif

I got it from Qoo10 malaysia. Shipped from Korea and local delivery via Skynet. You will be surprise some of the powertool is cheaper than lazada/ 11street/ gemfive ( even after less with their discount voucher )...Just last month got the Bosch GLL3x laser from Qoo10....paid RM295 shipped. Couldn't be happier to get it cheap cheap biggrin.gif

Went to the Bosch sale, huge crowd there. I queue for 40 minutes to the payment counter.

Car wiper blade selling 1 for rm9.90, 2 for rm15.
Bosch GLL 3-15 laser leveler rm315, comes with tripod. (I bought this) Lazada price about rm500.
Bosch 18V vacuum solo, rm214 (I think)
GCM 10 MX miter saw with damaged box, rm600
Bosch GBH 18 VLI solo rm4xx cordless 2 more rotary hammer.
Dremel versatip blowtorch rm150. I didnt buy coz I dunno what to use it for.

A lot of cordless drills targeting home users on sale there.
The cordless drill and rotary hammer package is selling too, forget to check the price.
Dremels too but I not familiar with dremel price.
*
I just came back empty handed sweat.gif

Nothing worth to buy except for those car wiper..... even this wiper doesn't worth my time queuing up for it. With lazada voucher can get better silicon wiper with slightly higher price.

Not much cordless powertool on sales, mostly corded tool but pricing also not cheap. I can get much much better price elsewhere.

Overall this event sales pricing worse than 11.11 sales.

1 yr late reply, where did u get the l-boxx 238 for that cheap? i paid 136 more than that.
*
indeed you are 1 year late sweat.gif

yes, as per bro yushin mentioned in his earlier post , most of my L boxx was purchase from gemfive with 30 / 40 % discount...back then the rsp for l boxx 238 was only rm175.

now i guess, the cheapest is to get from lazada, rm185 before 15% discount code...

Have a drawer to keep all the manual.

Sometime have to refer back when forget the setting, etc.

complicated machine / tool...maybe will keep the manual and can refer later on. those drill driver manual is just too much for me to read it... biggrin.gif

ah, thanks. i was thinking of using the 238 to throw all my loose tools inside. most of my hand tools are cheap, china ones as i always misplace them
i just send it as recycled paper

we are men - who never read instruction books before using the tool, as required by the manufacturer. LoL

edit: i saw you have both GOP12 and GOP18

any other blade brands you recommend other than bosch? i am going thru 1 ACZ almost for every job. to cut UPVC pipes.
*
i don't like my tool to be loosely throw inside any tool box, it just too messy and don't like to dig for tool.. biggrin.gif maybe you can diy some inlay organizer for the 238 using plywood to keep loose tool organize.

btw, now can get the 238 around rm150+ shipped ( with maxis discount code + shopback) from lazada. seller is csm hardware.

on the GOP, i'm still using those ori blade from bosch ( which came with the tool ). haven't try out other brand yet.. those china made blade seem very cheap but now sure how well it could perform.

How you clean your tools?

I try wipe clean. But get rust fast.

Than don't clean it, it won't rust. But my tools box will get dirty.

I don't like to apply wd40. It messy with oil and the toolbox become extract dust.

Sigh.
*
wd40 or other cleaner is a big no no for me...too messy

i usually just blow dust off ( with blower ) and wipe it with clean cloth / tissue laugh.gif

the 238 from CSM doens't ship here. i bought plenty of stuff from them since they offer free delivery

i am tempted to try those china one. the ACZ blade from china is only rm12 (cheaper if u use voucher) while the cheapest i can find online for bosch's ACS is rm 67. my local hardware store doesn't even stock these  OIS blades. LoL
*
the tool is rather cheap...but the accessories ( blades ) are super expensive vmad.gif

i guess this is the way they make $$ in long run mad.gif

but those OIS blades are really top quality. swiss made summore. i cut so many 8" upvc pipes the other day and it's not dull yet

i would have gone through at least 5 or 6 cutting discs if i were to use an angle grinder

btw, this trolleys are at Mr DIY

user posted image

left one rm 98, smaller and heavier (mild steel) vs the right one (RM 109) with aluminum

the RM109 model also comes in all black / grey

user posted image
same like yours? i dunno if it will fit a couple l-boxxes. my 2 boxes already weigh more than 10kg. not yet inc loose tool boxes.
*
mine is exactly the black one ( the last picture ). the base of the trolley won't fully cover the l boxx...maybe just 3/4 of it but it's good enough. i stack up almost 9 boxes ( 4 x 238, 2 x 136 , 3 x 102 ) with total weight of around 70++ kg. i tighten it with stretchable rope.. now i have incoming another 3 x 238..i guess need to invest another trolley rclxub.gif
