Anyone here has Dremel 8200? The cordless version.
Does it compatible with Bosch 10.8v battery?
*
indirectly compatible....both share the same battery unit and internal but only the outer case is diff, you can pry open it and interchange it....bosch charger is compatible for both dremel & bosch and vice versa. ( dremel is under bosch brand )

here's the video to show it can be done easily..

why wanna get the dremel 8200? might as well straight get the bosch gro 10.8v rotary tool as it's more powerful and durable...all dremel accessories are compatible with bosch gro 10.8.

Oh, I tot is direct plug in and use.
Bosch GRO is only available in UK.
Already put with 2x FL12 light in cart. See how much GBP will drop after Brexit.  brows.gif

Itchy hand and buy a 18V LED light. This light can put out 420Lumen of light, tested it just now and yes, its really very bright.
The fins on the surface are actually heat sinks.

Things I can do with the light
1) Early morning Cheng Beng grave cleaning.
2) Lighting when working in place that has bad lighting. Eg: Ceiling, under the sink.
3) Lighting during outdoor events. Camping, BBQ?
4) Additional lighting when working in garden/car posh at night.
5) Bright light during power blackout time.

Maybe will buy another one put left and right of me to reduce shadow when working.

any recommendations for wood cutter/grinder no need heavy duty all i need is to make hole on furniture?
*
i would recommend the bosch multi purpose tool ( GOP 10.8v / 18v ). making a plunge hole in the furniture is a breeze using this...and it's not only capable to make hole, it can use for sanding, cutting, scrapping and so much more...

check this video out...

Wired version = RM570
10.8v Version = rm830 (1 batt & charger)
18v version = rm790(tool only) to RM1430(tool with 2 batt & charger)

The costs of attachments will add up very fast...

For the FL12 light, see how is monday GBP rate first...
As of 7:42am 27/6/16 the GBP rate is at 5.49. buy or not?  brows.gif
*
just pull the trigger la.. rolleyes.gif 5.49 is already good enough compare to previous rate at 6.xx

in fact this FL12 is better than the bigger bro, bosch 18v GLIVARILED which you had. FL12 has a better runtime ( which is more important for me ), got the magnetic clip/stand and less bulky with battery attached.. biggrin.gif

Guys,

Your cordless hammer drill got wobbling issue?
I was driing 4mm metal hole on gate this afternoon, the wobbling so bad till i fear the drill bit might broke from all the shaking.

See youtube example below.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2JuTIy_Z1OM

Hope still can claim warranty, loss the receipt. sad.gif
*
so far all my bosch powertool has no such issue....maybe there is a little but it not obvious ..

no harm send it back to bosch for checking.

Quote from bosch representative from their forum...
There will be a very small amount of movement with the chuck both backwards & forwards as that is needed for the impact/hammer action and because of this there will also be movement in all directions. However there is a tolerance to what is acceptable. It does vary slighty from machine to machine.

i believe you are referring to Milwaukee M12 Fuel range rotary hammer, M12CH...

you can check it out at these showroom,

Aurous is their online name, Tick Hong is the physical shop name in salak south..here not full range but quite extensive milwaukee accessories here

Coolmanonline in sg besi....here this shop got much complete range of milwaukee tool...

I had tested it before, no oomph for me tho....can consider the bosch entry range of 18v rotary hammer, Bosch GBH 18v-LI

here's a video of the comparison of both the model biggrin.gif

anyway they had discontinued to carry milwaukee brand ( they refused to let me know their reason rclxub.gif )...and their website has not been updated. best is to whatsapp or call them directly to check the availability of the item first...

Milwaukee m18 promotion at Teamstar for its member. Not sure if got any catch behind it hmm.gif

[attachmentid=7085754]

Can refer at their facebook page
*
the only catch it you will need 20,000 member point + RM300. if no member point, you will need to pay RM550 for it. limited to 20 units only....

this is consider really cheap for 18v Milwaukee range....( if its bundle with 3 battery and charger as shown in the picture. the batteries alone already cost more than that already... )

This is a small type of dust collector. It collect all the dust at the top side body. While the vaccum unit at below. Attach the hose ontop.

It can run 8hr continuously. Run quite than normal house vaccum. Air blow out with filter. Unclip the top cover and throw away the dust.

Didn't use for many yrs in my work place.

Got both the M12 and M18.

M12CH-402C free M12CPD-0
M18 CHX-502C free M18CPD-0

[attachmentid=7099257]

First experience, the M12CH is really light and no problem on brick wall, havent try on concrete yet.

M12CPD, batt is flat after coring 3 60mm x 50mm hole. Maybe the batt is not fully charge, let see after a few more charging cycle.

just to share how i started with bosch 18v range of powertools...

this is my very first purchase of 18v range, the GAS vacuum...very powerful and compact in size. i would say this is the best vacuum in it's class..

paid RM460 for the 4.0Ah battery and fast charger, free GAS 18v vacuum.. laugh.gif
user posted image

this is the main tool which made me to invest in the 18v range, the bosch GCB band saw..
before getting this, i was considering to get the GCO 200 metal cut off grinder benchtop but because i love being cordless, hence i decided to get this instead. This band saw is so compact and powerful ! cut 1/2 inch GI pipe like butter without any spark! thumbsup.gif thumbsup.gif
user posted image

here's some diy stuff done with this band saw...

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

expanding my 18v range with this handy yet very useful GSS sander..it has the compartment for dust collection which is useful for indoor sanding job !

user posted image

another 18v range tool which made me irresistible to own it is this compact GBL blower...very powerful for it's size, and as powerful as the corded one... thumbsup.gif

user posted image

this piece is my most prized bosch 18v powertool ! bosch GBH compact rotary hammer..don't judge this by it's size, it's powerful for drilling in any masonry or concrete ! and why i say this is the most prized 18v tool because i paid a mere RM350 for a brand new solo unit ! rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif

user posted image

and the final piece of 18v tool which i love the most is this compact brushless impact wrench, GDX 18V-EC..
this 1 piece could replace any corded or cordless driver. the uniqueness of this wrench driver is it's special bit holder which combines 1/2" square and 1/4" hexagon ! the torque of this is so powerful, can easily remove or tighten any vehicle's wheel nut with breeze !! thumbsup.gif thumbsup.gif

user posted image

i only invest in 4.0Ah coolpack battery for my 18v range tool because of the runtime it can supply. i have 4 units of 4.0Ah batteries and i can drill, sand, cut, and vacuum all day long without need to recharge it ! thumbsup.gif

Worx Jawhorse Portable Clamping Workstation...this look very useful for portable clamp / vise...

i really need a vise but unfortunately i don't have a proper worktable so a table vise is out of question for time being...maybe would go for this...

most power tools blades, discs are universal, and some brand like worx design their power tool to accept different

style of attachment blades, for example the works multi cutter.

just now i mentioned the wu420, it seems the blade size is the same as those from bosch gks and makita now,

so all can be used, only thing is worx also gives you a metal and ceramic cutting blade 85mm, i think bosch gks

doesn't have these blades ??
*
bosch gws10.8v cordless grinder do have 3 type of blade..personally i feel cordless handheld grinder are more versatile compare to the corded worx wu420 which only limited to work on worktop bench perimeter...
