http://www.gemfive.com/my/skil-5301-circular-saw
dam the 30 and 25% discounts all expired, not even the 20%, only 15% now, still cheaper then getting it local.

thinking of getting a circular saw for cutting laminated chipboard, i assume i need fine teeth for good clean cut?
how much do they generally cost?
if i just use the standard blade if i cut very slow will it do a clean cut?

Where did you buy your laminated chipboard?

Showing the picture of my first wood cut using Bosch 10.8V cordless circular saw. All the while I did cuts using jigsaw.
I am reusing some wood from "buy but unused" ikea furniture to make a footstool for my computer desk.

The good thing about circular saw, I can do cuts right on the table because circular saw does not require large clearance on the bottom of the cut wood like a jigsaw.

The cut using circular saw is so straight!!! I admit I can never cut this straight freehand using jigsaw. The cut is smooth too.
[attachmentid=7153517]

Crosscut at 90 degree of wood grain does not make very smooth cut, I think I will need saw blade with more teeth.

Need to go visit CT tomorrow...

Muffle box is for the cyclone + high CFM use. I am still looking for a suitable centrifugal fan...

This Karcher vacuum beside doing dust collecting, will double as house wet vacuum so can't put it in a box.
This vacuum is large.

I connect this vacuum to a jointer/planer that has 100mm dust output. 35mm to 100mm conversion using towel to fill the gap between 35mm to 100mm.
Work surprising well, that auto filter cleaning function of this vacuum keep the high suction power consistant.

Due to the noise of the vacuum + planer, I end up wearing earplug whole afternoon, now ear itchy.  rclxub.gif

Update:
After looking at some of the youtube videos, I think a box for the vacuum is doable.
Anyone knows where to get those sound absorbing foam in Klang valley?

hi bro you have a planer ? is it an electric hand planer ? was considering a hand planer to make my 2x4 square... do you think it is useful ?

Its a benchtop jointer/planer. Not extremely accurate but I believe its still better than me planing with hand/electic.

how much did you pay for your benchtop planer ?

I told the hardware shop the same thing, dig a few holes into concrete occasionally, he ask me just buy the cheap china brand...
Then I bought the rotary hammer, looking at the user manual seems like a Bosch rotary hammer clone.

Drills a few hole in concrete to install overhead light, feels so easy unlike my Bosch GSB hammer drill push so hard still can't drill in.  bangwall.gif
