Hi all,

I'm in a dilemma whether to get a Makita HR2470 or Hitachi DH26PC. Of course the hitachi DH26PC is more powerful than the Makita but I'm a little bit concern about reliability and durability. I'm not used to Hitachi powertools.. only have their planner that I rarely use, so cannot expect the durability. Makita is well know for its durability but how about Hitachi? Is is as durable as Makita or Bosch?

Einhell RT-RH 24 Rotary Hammer
RM240+deliver
http://www.lazada.com.my/einhell-rt-rh-24-...ed-9979652.html
also in 11street.

This is an actual German brand, probably made in china.
Looks solid, metal head where as most are made with plastic.
like it that the handle doubles as a tool holder too, you can store few short bits inside.
*
I was considering to get this also but reading some reviews about einhell on the internet turned me off. Most review complaing about durability issue.

My Bosch impact drill finally die. After use for 18yrs. 😭

It is probably the switch problem which sometime no contact. Try to service it. But look like not easy.

Brought liau. From ace.

Lazada is cheaper but without those extra tools.

But I need to use and cannot wait for lazada delivery.

Just brought it with those crap tools.

If you want to buy, get only the drill. Those extra tools are low quality. Probably you already have it already.

wow 18 years.

i have a 16re myself, regret getting it 2 years ago for around RM290.
its too heavy for my proposes, and i dont need the extra torque or the fast speed. wish i bough a 450-500W version much lighter.
use the money saved and buy a cheap hammer drill.
10V cordless drill are nice to have but not essential.

Old bosch tools are more reliable compare new bosch. You can get 1yrs warranty compare 6mnth now. sad.gif

Compare to my old 550w, 16RE is lighter. An improve the weight.

550W

16RE 750W
user posted image

Compare the size, 16RE is smaller and compact.

user posted image

So it actually worth to get the 16RE 750W than the GSB 1300 550W.

I can borrow the Makita rotary hammer anytime. So I don't need to get another big size tools. What I need is a smaller version with a jaw type chuck. Sometime I need to drill metal and wood precise.

Already have the Makita cordless drill and impact driver.

This more to the replacement.

Thank you very much. notworthy.gif

Immediately order now.

The original Makita cutter is carbon blade 20T. It is for wood.

Doesn't matter what brand for me. As long as it meet the blade spec of 85mm, 15mm bore. And able to cut.
