metal roofing sheet

If just for personnel house doing some diy job, you can try the Bosch or makita 10.8/12v type. Those impact driver or hammer drill. The bad is not that powerfull and runout of battery faster if you use for heavy duty. Get an extra battery.

But if you use for heavy duty, get those 18v.

If you involve the concrete drilling, better get the cord type. It make your work faster. Brand and type is already up there.

The normal wall plugs that come in a strip, I think it's 6mm if not mistaken.
I will buy those volkmar instead. Did you put 8 screws as in the instruction for the tallest wall upright?  Ok thanks ozak

Btw is the algot shelves sturdy? Any complaints?
*
I follow the instruction. If it said 4 hole, drill 4 hole lor. Have 2 of this shelve. 1 short and 1 long.

Those normal wall plug in a strip will do. No need expensive 1 la.

Already using for 16yrs. Can't complain anymore. But the shelve cannot put thing too heavy. My 1 got 1 or 2 shelve bend in the middle. But that take sometime.

Makesure the vertical stand slot left and right is match horizontally. If not, your shelve will be slant 1 side. Make use of level gauge.

My level gauge short one. I wonder if I need the long one or can I move the short one and test over several spots.
*
Short or long also can use la.

I forget the screw hole got slot to adjust or not. If can adjust, than much more easy to drill. If cannot, than need precise drilling. So don't hand shake. biggrin.gif

Fix 1 side first. Put on the shelve and the level gauge in the middle of the shelve. Mark the hole for another side after align. Than drill.

I got a question regarding Makita HR2470.

It got several variants, and T-variant is the one which has quick change chuck.

I wonder, the quick change chuck can fit to other variant if I managed to get it somehow?

I searched Google Master but still no answer...
*
The T model come with another jaw chuck right? All the model is std with quick change chuck.

U misunderstood. The quick change chuck I mean is you can totally change the SDS chuck to ordinary drill chuck.
*
The normal model cannot change the sds chuck?

the normal chuck, will only be used if u want to attached those so called.. specialized tile drilling bits..

as i've yet to come across tiles/glass drilling bits like

http://www.boschtools.com/Products/Accesso...9&subCatId=1625

in SDS format, never really used SDS bits in drilling mode - hammer to drill tiles..

does it perform better ?
*
Saw some tiles bit in ACE.

Sds chuck not accurate for precise drilling. Got to change to jaw chuck. But jaw chuck not suitable for hammer drilling. Spoil easily.

consider the makita lxt 18v cordless from US. check ebay, they're around RM2k shipped and you get a lot more equipment.

was contemplating of getting one, then RM goes to drain and have to hold my horses.
*
I think Amazon more cheaper if you brought during black Friday last yrs. Got something like 25% off.
