nice lar..but how to remove the sata connector? any tools?
where can get the uv sata connector? i want drool.gif

i neva seen any sata power connector on any PSUs other than Enermax Noisetaker ar. My Noisetaker's sata power connector head, can easily be removed. itz like, snap on sumthing lyk dat. and last nyt i change the position of both sata power connector into like this.

user posted image
captured using my nokia 6230. sorry for loss of quality.

based on yesterday so-called discussion session wif ikan_semilang, i think I'll sleeve those power sata cable wif a black sleeve. n the small amount of cable between the 1st and 2nd power cable head, i'll plan to use black heatshrink for the red, orange and yellow wires. howz dat eh? unsure.gif

now, those sata hdd already very near to each other, easier to manage the cables involved. I think itz ok the reposition the sata power connector, technically agreed by DaEMoNteNTAcLe oso last nyt. but if itz harmful, pls to inform me k guys? sweat.gif

another thing, when I tried to make a contact between the connector head and the yellow wire, 1/1001 wires inside the yellow shielding got cut off oso oops.gif . i think it won't do any harm.. m i wrong? grumble.gif

@magician
datz lyk triple post liao ..uhuhuhu doh.gif

Or isit juz plug the 4 pin molex from the hardware to any 4 pin molex connector from psu.

dat should be it. but make sure the yellow wire on the molex is alwiz the nearest to the side panel.. at least, dat applies to most of the hardwares esp optical drives. hope dat helps.

I juz push the SATA cable together wif the head into the sleeve, datz wat i did b4.the biggest problem is how to push in the heatshrink... cry.gif

edited: owh, the Power cable... some brand can remove the header, n some can't. lyk wat uglyvamp said, nothing much can be done about dat... unless u cut the molex, n solder em back again... wheee~

u can read em here.

datz wat most ppl will think. To those Vantec Sleeving kit owners, the blue heatshrink in the pic, is the biggest size u can get in that kit... that heatshrink is meant for the 20-24 pin cable... nyehehehhe..

btw, does SATA power connector considered as molex? coz if it is, then yeah, it is dat "sleeving without moving out the molex" thingy by me. tongue.gif

ayu, they dun sell it in dat kinda color combo... orange sleeve is one pack, n blue connectors is in another pack... yet, orange sleeve is a rare... Vantec dun haf it... u can look at overclockers paradise to see if they haf it or not.. otherwise, take a peek at some forummer's garage sale or online store... hope dat helps
