this sleeving thing is a nightmare! tried some sleeving last nite - got all sorts of issues like frayed sleeves, overburnt shrinks, too long, too short, sleeves coming out, can't shrink the shrinks near the PSU part, etc. Reading the guide by UV is one thing, actually doing the sleeving is another Btw, I think Vizo (Vantec) sleeving kits are a ripoff. There's not enough in a pack for the entire PSU. They don't even provide enuf heatshrinks of the right size. There's too many large-sized heatshrinks. Not enough small ones for the molex. I think it's better to get black heatshrinks, even if you accidentally toast a few, it's not visible. And also buy sleeves separately and not from packs. Measure all the lengths and sizes required, then go shopping for them.

zzzZZZzzz, just found out that there're MANY sizes for sleeves, not just the 3 size that came with Vizo/Vantec sleeving kit. Even the heatshrinks has many sizes. Can anyone share what size they use for which cable, especially the standard molex cables?
@inteluser, I don't quite understand your question - are you asking about L-shape SATA cables or sleeving the SATA cable? Or if the cable itself can be L-shape instead of just the molex? Or is L a shape or SATA is a cable? Ok, sorry, I couldn't help that... anyway please rephrase your question so we can help.

Lots of sellers in LYN sell custom lengths. Go to Garage Sales/Bulk Sales for them.
For heatskrinks, you can get from eletronic shops. There's one in SS2 that sells TONS of it. I find that those shrink much better than Vantec/Vizo heatshrinks.
