QUOTE(noname_lah86 @ Sep 15 2011, 02:14 PM) Is there possible to do sleeving without disconnect the connector ? Feel like want to do sleeving but not dare to remove all the connector..later com kaboom switch off the power supply before sleeving, sure no kaboom. if u are afraid, do 1 by 1 so that u wont mistake the connector place.

Hi sifu-sifu, I am going to do myself a notebook cooler. But I need to know how big does the heatshrink I need for tidying those cables after connecting them. BTW, can I use lighter to shrink them?

thank you, you all for reading this thread after all these years. i miss coming back here. @ mizi, u can strip out the heatshrink. the bulging thing is either a ferrite magnet or a capacitor to regulate voltage. if it is a magnet, it'll be a "ring" magnet then you are lucky. if capacitor, u may have to unsolder & resolder it after sleeving. u can also reposition it away good luck.
