what is the best length lens for street photography? i never do street b4 with human being in it. I gonna try with 10-22 and 55-250mm during my visit to penang

yesterday there an inappropriate old stranger talk loud loud at me for point my camera at him. said take photo must pay 3k to him (in a mad tone), i juz walk away from him.
