I burst my CL and Maybank continued to approve a few more hundred Ringgit when i was in Beijing last month. Supposedly Maybank should have rejected the last transaction i made in Beijing because i have almost used up my whole CL and in order for this transaction to go through, i needed at least RM300 more. However, Maybank approved this transaction, much to my surprise.

Anyway, i flew Cathay Pacific to Hong Kong one day later and bought something from the inflight duty free. Again, Maybank approved the payment too    By this time, my Maybank credit card was more than RM500 over limit 

2) Come back to Malaysia, was travelling to Langkawi. My card reach credit limit. Spent 2 days calling up requesting for temporary credit extension when it could have been granted in 10 minutes. Somemore I had flawless payment record.
3) Request for my cards to be upgraded to Platinum in consideration of my heavy usage & good track records. After 2 weeks, get a stupid reply asking me to re-apply for Platinum cards with no guarantee of being granted.

wow more than 10k/month? why didn't u apply for the platinum straight away?

my overall spending if charge/cc and other bank all adds up, somewhere around 40k amonth.
i use mbb less than 1 year . from amex gold to amex plat cc , i spend excedd limit few time , i request got rejected .
i screw them like more than 3 time amonth , till i get my 1 year card old ..
as i request , they give extra 5k..but somehow everymonth to now , i still request my temp credit limit ,extra 5k.
since im a good pay master. how much mbb give me on CL . i spend it full .

i just tell them i want my money in 2 hours , check my record , get your management to approve my CL .
same for just now , i call them in the morning 11am , 1pm as they promised , they will call me back
happily they upgrade my temp in 2 hours time only. i got another extra 5000 to swpe with tenaga nasional.

i've told them i do not need to ask you to give me a CL if they able to swipe my AMEX charge on the spot .
so please do the job and give me a reply in 2 hours .
aswell as i still prefer to use the 1800 88 9559 , amex call service . more than 1800 88 1801 .. mbb call service
as im hold a amex plat cc a year more, i use them to help me increase my urgent CL , Emergency CL , and others .

sometime even use your charge power .
is true , for bank 35k in 6month consider peanuts , but ..i believe. 35k being used and paid . is the best.
because alot of user have only 3000CL and use without pay . why is maybank still issue card to the small peanuts user ?
they need diversify their risk to high commitment and low commitment.
if u ask me ..i have swiped nearly 6 month with all my card up to 200-250k.
im running my home business .

Heavy transactions don't really guarantee one to get a Platinum these days. Banks are getting stricter, they only want to see your income which fulfills their requirements then only Platinum will be granted.
