If you notice, the number of point for most items to redeem has increased (due to inflation?!). To me the best usage for TP is through the TreatsFair, when you can get most great items at lower price - not the market value we are redeeming now. There are also auction items, but watch out for 'novice' bidders who bids at item at a market rate.
