Hello I just spent RM124.30 last month and interest paid on 31st dec was RM5.69

Why lesser 1 ? I thought RM124.3 x 5% cash back = RM6.215?
*
hi, i think the interest is due to your savings account icon_rolleyes.gif
i believe cashback will only be credited in 2 Jan for this month.

but saving account interest is in saving account transaction.

mbb cash back is in cc transaction tongue.gif

The poster mentioned 'interest paid' not 'cashback'. Since he is a first time user, I assume he thought the cashback will go directly into his savings account biggrin.gif. Somemore, the date is 31 Dec.

If you are not able to view it in your M2U yet, the next option is to call the CS

Obviously you are pissed out with me for asking questions. The senior here learn from asking questions and and some senior answer them. You may call it 'sharing'. You may call me lazy but you never know. I could be busy with others things in my life and I need a quick answer to 1 or 2 questions. For me, it look reasonable by asking questions but I do not know why piss you so much.

It is faster and easier if you spend some minute checking their treatpoints catalogue. The required information is stated there clearly. Only a single page.

maybankard2 doesn't not have Visa already? Only Amex and Master Card? Asked the woman at the counter she said if want Visa need to apply standalone Visa Infinite.
*
Which counter? Not every Tom d*** and harry can apply Visa Infinite haha. I think mastercard is by default. You have to specify it clearly if you want visa.

anyone use the cash voucher for Equatorial Cameron Highland?

the RM338 voucher can use to offset normal rate only right? i check the lowest rate is RM420, but voucher stated RM 487... so this voucher can use to offset RM420 room or not?

I still have 2 pieces with me for sale, PM if you are interested.

Added on January 5, 2012, 4:10 pmInfo on the SMS notification, the SMS alert will only be sent for certain transactions that match a certain criteria. Therefore, you will not receive the alert for ALL transactions.

SMS is completely free, even if roaming overseas. You can switch off the alert if you want (though not recommended) by calling 1300886688.

It was mentioned that we can use cashback to pay the outstanding balance.

Here is a scenario, statement date 18-Dec, due date 7-Jan, outstanding amount RM100, cashback on 1-Jan is RM20. So if I pay RM80, will the minimum balance and outstanding balance be shown as zero?

Dont have to worry and keep waiting for the SMS anymore. Maybank in their facebook has stated that we will not receive the alert for ALL transactions.

Eh, i didnt received any sms for 2 swipe today. Should i be worried?
*
No reason to be worried if you indeed make the swipes. Only start worrying when you get SMS but did not make any swipe. Anyway, I have yet to get any SMS at all. The sms is not for all transactions, so serves no purpose already.

It's unlikely to send sms to all transactions because it's too costly,  I guess  sms will only be triggered by the bank's card fraud detection system when certain security parameters had been compromised.
*
so far, it looks random. i wonder if HSBC send sms to ALL transactions hmm.gif

5x points and 5% cash back are just for amex card right?

Mastercard just nothing?

Btw,
Where can i pay bill online using cc especially tnb? My bill monthly is about rm1000 plus per month for tnb only. So that i can cap my cashback as well as at least 5k points for just paying tnb bill
*
Mastercard/visa gives you 1x point.
Refer to the 'Places to use your AMEX v1.1' thread on methods to pay bills.
