my statement date is 26 November 2011.
this is my 1st statement, so i'm not sure where can those cash rebate. so mean that i have to pay the full amount that i spent (not amount - cash rebate)?
*
Yes, unless you change the statement date, I think if we were to receive the statement with the rebate credited, the statement date has to be after first of every month. But I haven't tried to call the CS to change the date to 2nd of every month yet.

It doesn't accept RM, only USD (so far I have tried). smile.gif
*
How do you change to USD? If we were to use this tactic, wouldn't it will be more costly considering the conversion rate?

As far as I know the RM50 monthly rebate is following calendar month instead of statement billing month, but is there anyone here has experienced wrong calculation e.g. rebate is calculated from 1 Nov to Dec 1 instead of 1 Nov to 30 Nov ?

It was such a pleasant surprise to received RM40 Carrefour voucher for spending a minimum of RM200 store wide in a single receipt (20% rebate).
Can split bill of RM200 each for small ticket items.
Including Amex 5%+2.5% rebates, total saving 27.50%.

Electrical items around RM200 is worth to buy at Carrefour today.

Yes TS, cigarette included. But today is last day.
*
I thought not applicable for electrical items ?

yes, paypal will not allow malaysian amex to pay in MYR, only can pay in USD
so if the merchant already specified the payment to be in MYR, cannot use malaysian amex

Ok, if compare between MBB 2 AMEX (5% rebate on weekend) and OCBC Titanium which only gives 1% rebate but overall which card the best rate in terms of exchange rate and cash rebate. Since MBB 2 AMEX has a higher exchange rate fee?

From your experiences, using MBB 2 AMEX vs OCBC Titanium to buy stuffs from eBay, which card gives the best overall value rebate?
