QUOTE(snoopdog17 @ Feb 27 2012, 11:12 PM) Ahhhh if thats the case, there is no benefit in applying for a supplementary card then? Every cardholder is better off having their own set of credit cards as Rm50 fee is charged on both principal and supp cards and rebate 5% is shared. I dont think joint accounts can be linked to credit card.. And different principal cant share treatpoints. How about joint accounts? Can my mum n dad both be the principal cardholders and share treatpoints as a joint account? QUOTE(David83 @ Feb 27 2012, 11:16 PM) As long as the principal cardholder name is different, each cardholder will be enjoying separate RM 50 cash rebate. Nope, GST are charged based on numbers of card. So if you have 2 sets you will get charged 2x.If I remembered correctly, somebody did share that if one principal card holder has two sets of MBB2 cards, they're going to going to share the same RM 50 cash rebate even though the card numbers are different. Can somebody confirm this? Correct me if I'm wrong. |

How long it takes to chanhe? Hmmm. I think i just found a way to make some cash back from the card, and Maxis users.
![]() Maxis M Money Anyone heard before? Its an electronic wallet (failed one actually) a joint project between Maxis and Maybank (and Old Town White Coffee), back 6 years ago. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Anyway back to it.... Looks like you can Cash-In (reload) using credit card (MBB 2 Kard) either via Maxis MASA, or e-Pay merchants.. And then you may use the credit to either pay for Maxis/Hotlink bill or option to Cash-Out at Maxis MASA Centre.. Lets count the costs.. Cash-In via e-Pay = 0.5% fee of Cash-In amount or Min RM.050 for each transaction Cash-Out directly to Bank Account = RM0.15/transaction So with weekend 5% cash back + 5x TP earning - RM0.50 (for RM100) = earning cash back roughly RM7. Can also opt to Cash-Out at Maxis MASA, not sure got charges or not.. |

QUOTE(snoopdog17 @ Feb 28 2012, 04:59 PM) Maybankard official facebook site says I'm unable to apply for the Maybankard 2 Gold as I do not have the most recent 2 months payslip. However, some say that using an offer letter is enough proof to apply for it? Planning to go to 1U this week if I am able to apply for it. Any1 has any idea whether 1U maybankard center allows for the credit card application using only offer letter? Chances are slim coz u do not have any loan history.. But u can always try.. |

QUOTE(gerrardling @ Feb 28 2012, 05:41 PM) looks like a good idea to earn side income, anyone tried it already ? not sure whether they allow topup using credit card or not Not sure about other merchants, but im sure SenHeng or SenQ can.. Just like can use to reload Touch n Go card... Anyway, its just my theory.... It may work.. I might go try this weekend if im free.. Even if after Cash-In cant Cash-Out via cash, can still use the credit to pay Maxis bill. |

QUOTE(roger roger @ Feb 29 2012, 10:58 AM) I thought the AMEX waived the RM50 GST but the VISA/MASTER pair card is charging RM50 GST. Hence, a lot ppl confused coz MBB2 pair cards are 25/25. I did ask CS regarding cancel the the VISA pair card, but they said cannot coz it is pair card. Unlike Direct Access pair card. Techically, as requirements from BNM all credit cards issued will be charged RM50 GST.Added on February 29, 2012, 11:04 am No, visa or master oni give 1x TP and no cash back. If u want buy Apple product, please go to nearest Harvey Norman on weekend! They accept Amex! Walah, 5x TP & 5% CB! Check out if got 0% installment plan. I got my Ipong using 0% installment scheme! And its the same with Maybank 2 Kard. Just that Maybank is offering auto/free waive for Amex (or either one) of the card. If u check ur statement u will see both cards actually charged RM50 but one of them will automatically credited. And yes canot cancel either 1 must have both, that is the condition for the RM50 GST thingy. Harvey Norman selling iphong meh? |

QUOTE(nhy7bgt6 @ Mar 1 2012, 11:45 AM) Just now I received a call from Maybank saying that I have been selected to get the Maybankard 2 Gold card, and was aasking for some of my informations. The call is from 03-5885 5100. Is this promotion valid? I doubt so.....Most probably its just credit card agent trying to fish customers by doing cold call.. |

QUOTE(nhy7bgt6 @ Mar 1 2012, 12:49 PM) Well the lady on the other side of the phone did provide her Maybank E-mail address for me to send the details to her Yes and she is credit card agent (in-house/Internet)...If you were "selected" you wouldnt even need to send ur details isnt it? And this makes no difference than u walk in to any branches to apply credit card.. Unless she says give u free GST waiver. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Mar 1 2012, 01:51 PM) You make a good point, it didn't cross my mind on this part. My Maybank 2 Kard even better, just appear out of no where and ask me to go collect card.I was offered over the phone as well and I wasn't required to send in any information or document, not even my payslip. What they verified was just my card delivery address. |

QUOTE(nhy7bgt6 @ Mar 1 2012, 02:06 PM) Other than getting the contact addresses (including which Maybank branch I can go to collect the card), the lady is also asking for verification on my identity (e.g my IC No.) to check if I am the person who is selected. She gave me the email address (under @maybank.com.my) for me to send the IC No. I assume u have existing Maybank account either savings/currect/ or loan?Anyway if u want the card then just go ahead... |
