One of the MBB staff in melaka told me so... No need 3mths pay slip... so long you can produce your current one month pay slip, offer letter, and your degree plus kwsp statement that will be fine...

oh ya i was working for a yr plus d... working and studying at the same time... grad in nov and got a new job started this month thats y jus wanna apply for one...

by the way not saying that degree is a requirement just that bank staff told me with a degree no need 3 mths pay slip only..
*
Well, since the MBB staff told you that, why don't you try applying then?
If you ask us here, we will suggest you to get the documents as per Maybank's requirement, as stated on their website.

the only card i know where degree is a requirement (or helps) is CIMB Direct Access
*
Yeah, I can confirm this as I applied via a Degree completion letter, even without the real cert. I started working for 8 months before I went for my convo. tongue.gif
That was stated in DA's requirements, so gotta accept it.
Never heard before M2GCard requires Degree as well. Not that I know of. smile.gif

good question about the cash back... I also want to know. But for the Treats Points, you should be earn 5X TP as usual.
Click here to read my article on AMEX Promotion which also mentioned about EzyPay.

I did see the AMEX Ezy Pay ad being displayed at Courts and Tomei outlet.

Oh my, I'm such an ancient who still lives in cave. Thanks for enlightening me! biggrin.gif

Is there any annual fee needed to be paid after getting Maybank 2 Gold card? As far as I know there's a RM50 charges per annual is that correct?
*

I can tell you they are so wrong. Internet transactions do qualify for the 5% weekend cash rebate but as Gen-X said, it all boils down to the transaction date + posting date of your payment.
*
Yes, been there and done that. smile.gif
No issue and got my puny 5% rebate for weekend. blush.gif

Maybankard having issues. Cannot check via M2U. Called CS and they said cannot use the card temporary until issue resolved. Anyone facing the same thing?

I can view my cards on M2U, just logged in. smile.gif

Can't use my AmEx at Jusco Seremban 2 yesterday. I have used before in that particular counter...

The cashier told me something like the card is not supported... I didn't have the opportunity to try at other places though. Let's hope my card is not faulty.

In the end, I had to swipe with my VISA. Losing out 5% weekend rebate and 5xTP. sad.gif

Wow, that's cool. Next time can ask my sister to renew her membership card using my AmEx.

I actually had the chance to try now at Olive Sentral, KL Sentral. Previously swiped there before and worked for AmEx but it was a treat by my boss that it was meant for my belated birthday lunch. laugh.gif

I hope it was just a terminal failure in Jusco S2 that time, I don't want to wait for a replacement card. It's not fun. sad.gif

I think people are confused between buying stuff using CC through the phone and calling MBB CS for an issue. When buying stuff, getting asked for the CVV number is normal. When calling CS, this question should never arise.
*
Ah ha! You caught me red-handed, blush.gif Bear with me as I was trying to clear my piling tasks. tongue.gif

Yes, mine was for purchase. So far no CS asks me on CVV before.

go to any maybank branch and ask the cs to link your M2 cards to maybank2u

Yeah this is what I heard.
My boss' monthly income is more than 30k per month and yet got rejected by CIMB.
She is an Indonesian. The most ironic part is her monthly salary is credited into CIMB. sweat.gif
She was offered with a HSBC platinum straight away.
Even I also find it funny for CIMB to reject her application.

So in conclusion, don't withdraw cash using a CC.

I remember usually pin code will be sent to our delivery address separately. I don't recall I receive anything for my Maybankard 2 Gold Card.

Once I receive this kind of pin code, I'll destroy it immediately. No point using it.

MBB won't send it to you unless you request it at the branch.

All my MBB CC do not have ATM PIN.

I see. That explains. biggrin.gif
A good prevention I must say, good control for big spenders.
