I would like to buy Maxis's value 1 iphone 4 ...... today or tomorrow (due to maxis close account on 28th) . Since iphone 5 is coming near (4th Oct) , is it okay to buy iphone 4 now or after iphone 5 come out ?

Will maxis drop the price of iphone 4 package ?

HELL NO!! ipong5 wil b announced nex week n most likely launched nex month, so u better wait for anoter few more weeks for ipong5,

if u buy ipong4 nw, then 3 weeks later ipong5 come out n its the same price as the current ipong4, n dat time ipong4 price will drop like shit.........

I would think its better to wait and see. Its only around 1 week (or so) wait. Not exactly long. In case iPhone5 has features/specs that you think might suite your needs better, then at least you can wait a while more and get it, instead of looking at your iPhone4 with regret.

You have already waited so long anyway, what is a few more days (or weeks)

Even if you decide not to get the iPhone5, at least the iPhone4 should be cheaper then

I never buy any phone upon launch because there are always bugs in new product. Beside, after 6 months, price have often dropped a few hundred Ringgit. Win-Win.

even when iPhone 5 is announced, it takes about 2 weeks for it to be in US market.

True news... I have fren in US.... HE said in US there already start booking for iphone5 on certain carrier network...

so it a comfirmation of release iphone 5 next month..... and asia normally will launch 3month after US launch...

So if u plan to buy iphone.. so think twice...

its not about the phone i care , its about the plan that maxis provides suites my needs.

currently my call consumption is 5-6 hours/month (others) + 2~3 hours/month (wife), data = 60 ~ 100mb/month. Currently i'm paying 150++ for communication only . The only way to get the plan is to buy the iphone package .

Anyway , iphone is a great phone I love the apps , the touch screen , camera white balance , .currently , Im using ip3g rite now with rm50(commitment) + rm18 (100mb) data + rm15 hidden charges + avg rm60 calls .

probably iphone4 can drop ~rm300+- when maxis introduce ip5 . (like the 3gs & ip4 story) or they pusing2 still the same amount.

backside of the story : if my usage is below rm150 , i can claim full amount from company .. hehehe

Apple has officially announced the event to release iPhone 5, which is next week 5th October 2011...

Probably end of November to arrive here, could be worse, maybe December due to recent rumors of material shortage...

US carriers will be offering the 8GB iPhone 3GS and 4, and all capacities of 4S so maybe... yeah. but for other countries that haven't received 4S then I think they will still be in stock.
