Hey guys, need some help on UOB Debit Mastercard question.

Say if I want to purchase something using the debit card, does it have a limit per transaction or any amount is permitted as long as you have enough balance? When I called the Call Center and asked (twice), one said it follows your ATM withdrawal limit (which is RM1k iirc), and the other one said any amount is fine as long as you have sufficient balance. So...which one is right now?
