Debit card is like a atm card and it have the features same as credit card which you can shopping at visa or master merchant, but not installment.

i'm wondering if there's a card that can be linked to paypal but don't need to call/ask the bank to get the verification no. maybe something like online statement?

What's the difference(advantages/disadvantages) between PB VISA ELECTRON and PB-ESSO MOBIL VISA debit cards?
Can PB Esso Mobil be linked to savings/current account?
I know Visa Electron can.

seldom visit Public bank ATM, but today just went to for cash withdraw; during the transaction, the ATM screen promote FOC convert Blue ATM card to PB Day2Day Debit Visa Card and you will get free gift:

1. I never apply Debit Card before, is Debit Card also charged RM50 gov annual tax?
2. What free gift Public bank give during this limited time offer?

The RM50 is only for credit card. Not sure about the free gift though.

Can i use Maybank Visa debit electron to sign mobile phone contract? or other contract?

1. Maybank doesn't offer VISA debit Electron
2. They only offer a regular ATM card, VISA debit card, MU VISA debit card and debit MasterCard
3. No. You can't sign up for a mobile phone plan with your debit card. You need a credit card for that. You may however, set up a standing instruction to debit your bill directly from your Maybank savings/current account every month.

Has anybody use their Maybankard debit visa/atm card to petrol payment? I wonder how safe it is judging by that fact that the very same card is link to your banking accounts.

Hello everyone. I have just got my new CIMB Debit Mastercard, planned to make a purchase via Google Wallet/Google Checkout, but my card was rejected. Anyone has actually used this card for Google Wallet? And is there any minimum fund needed?
