Anyway with regard to the quite-newly-launched RHB debit card as above, if I'm not mistaken, this is a limited debit card as seen from the poster in one of the rhb branch in Kl sentral. I've just converted mine.

Paypal is usable with Maybank debit card, I believe all debit cards are possible, you just have to link them with your paypal, correct me if I'm wrong. At the moment, there's no debit card with ambank yet.

For an easier transaction with Paypal, why not you go for RHB ? No frills, everything is instant, no need to link this link that and get the 6 digits code from the statement.

Questions: CIMB ATM/Debit Card

I have 3 accounts:
1 x Individual Saving Acc
1 x Joint Saving Acc (Either)
1 x AA Savers

If I tag all three accounts into a single ATM card, will I get charge RM8 annually, or RM8 x 3 = RM24 annually?

Fyi, HSBC launched their debit card recently, not much advertisement about it so most of the existing account holder will know about it only when they receive the new card via post.

a good card for HSBC smart privileges offer if u don't want to use their credit card and still enjoy most of the merchant offer with HSBC.

Anyone facing issues with a CIMB e.MasterCard for online merchants (Amazon, eBay, the like) WITHOUT a current account? I placed orders for items on these retailers and all the transactions bounced... when I checked with CIMB, the merchants were requesting for a current account which I obviously did not possess, thus declined.

Hi, I have a quick question. If my Maybank debit card is linked with more than one account, for example a regular savings account and M2U saver account, which account will be deducted in a transaction?

I believe it will be automatically deducted from your regular savings account, the one that you initially got the debit card with.

Due to some transaction needs, just open a Public Bank Basic Saving Account, and requested to have (blue) ATM Bankcard, but the officier said no more, and force me to take Debit card.

Is not about I cannot afford the RM8/year, I just need to check where there is transaction (someone bank-in) online, and can they just force me to take the debit card?

It seems Public Bank have indeed phased out the old red or blue ATM card, meaning no longer issuing new one now. However, if that really is the case and they only issue Day2Day VISA debit card now, they still shouldn't charge you for the card.

Anyway, why don't you send them an email via their website and see how is their response from the HQ ?
