If your unit still under warranty better send to sis. DIY will void your warranty, if any other failure in future you might not able to claims your warranty.
Try ask sis to quote you a price for Mozart ,I think is around RM450.
oops, HD7 very expensive. i tot your is Mozart. HD7 cost about RM650.00

last time my T-mobile screen broken too, bought a display and front panel housing from ebay. Warning!! not an easy task to replace HD7 LCD Panel as the LCD + front glasses is completely glue to the front housing.

Reupdated my Optimus 7 to sweet mango after finding solution to previous 0x81030120 error when trying to sideload Advance Config. So now my Optimus 7 is Mangoed & Unlocked. rclxms.gif

LG sure rocks since IMO among all WP7 phone it's the easiest to unlock. Don't even need to download any XAP or other apps to unlock it. And it also can be done after you have update to Mango.

Anyway below is how to unlock you LG Optimus 7, thanks to people at XDA.

Just one note, if u want to update to Mango best do it after 1AM since it's really slow downloading the update in day time. Last time the whole process only took me less than 1 hour, today it's more than 2 hours.

LG

1. Install the MFG app by dialing: ##634#
2. Open the MFG app. The password is: appmfg#*#
3. Go to Engineer Menu -> Other Settings -> Edit Registry
4. Set your ROOT PATH to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE"
5. Set your input path to "\Comm\Security\LVMod"
6. Set your input key to "DeveloperUnlockState" and set to DWORD.
7. Leave input data box empty and tap "SET".
8. The output should be 0.
9. Now enter "1" in the inputbox and tap "SET".
10. The output should be 1.
11. Set your input path to "\Software\Microsoft\DeviceReg"
12. Set your input key to "PortalUrlProd" and set to DWORD.
13. Clear the input data box and hit "SET".
14. Output result should be "0".
15. Set your input key to "PortalUrlInt" and set to DWORD.
13. Clear the input data box and hit "SET".
14. Output result should be "0".
15. Set your input path to "\Software\Microsoft\DeviceReg\Install"
16. Set your input key to "MaxUnsignedApp" and set to DWORD.
17. Clear the input data box and hit "SET".
18. The output should be 0.
19. Now enter "2147483647" in the inputbox and tap "SET".
20. Output result should be "2147483647".

Good luck. nod.gif

For those looking for an unlocked, SIM-free version of the HTC Titan, Clove Technology has you covered as that device is now in stock and ready to be ordered. Fetching for £498.00 (incl. VAT) or about $767, you can order the biggest, baddest Windows Phone to date.

767.00 USD = 2,453.25 MYR
498.00 GBP = 2,446.60 MYR

Good news for those who reside in Australia and are eagerly awaiting the HTC Radar handset, MobiCity is now stocking HTC's Mango-powered white gem and it's available for purchase at $549.99. It's not tied to any network (unlocked), is available in white or silver and is ready to ship on order

549.00 AUD = 1,656.75 MYR
